What a difference Krul makes man, there's nowt wrong with those sides except for the keeper.
We've certainly fielded worse sides in the past year and came out with a good result and performance.
From the little I've seen of Elliott I'd be surprised if Everton scored less than 3, Tony Hibbert to break his Premier League duck with a 90 yard lofted clearance.
Closest I've ever been to experiencing a parallel universe is looking at that picture.

What's the problem like?
Either way it would be disappointing if Pardew feels he cannot bench either, it's pretty clear that Marv will bring more to a game at the moment but as he isn't a big figure in the side he'll always be the one to make way.
Yeah Cisse is the player I would 'drop'. I would think of rotating a front 3 between Marv, Ba, Cisse & Ben Arfa with Ben Arfa being ever present and Ba altering between LW & ST depending on who and how we're playing. Cabaye just behind.
That's what I thought Colo was on, I doubt Xisco will be on £50k a week though? I cannot see why we'd agree to that as he was nothing more than a promosing young striker when we signed him, Coloccini was rated as one of the best defenders in Spain.
He was young when we signed him and wasn't a first teamer at Depor so he'll not be on Colo's wages, the same as he wouldn't have been on Colo's wages when they were both at Deportivo.
We were dafter with our money back then but not THAT daft. Probably about £15k (I just made that figure up).
Even when injured you'll likely still be working (probably harder than the rest of the squad) on getting back to full fitness once it's possible. His basic wage will still be quite high I would imagine, which is fair enough.
I don't think we were really, it's not our fault that Liverpool decided to give him a lacerative contract. We'd have offered to pay the wages that we though he was worth.
