The bloke beside me hasn't got a clue what the words are. Every time the song starts I can see him listening intensely trying to work out what people are saying. He's asked me at the last 2 home games, I've spoken the words to him but like me, he's always half cut at the match so he still hasn't grasped it.

Has there ever been a greater turn around in a players performances for us than Joelinton's? Absolutely owwa the moon for him like as he seems a canny fella as well.

Delighted with the performance tonight. Play like that and add 4 or 5 new signings and we might just be alright. Joelinton is a different player like.

Looking at that team sheet is making me nearly cry. 14 years if complete neglect catching up with us.

Oh well, I'd still be delighted if we signed him based on the simple fact he's on a different level to any of the shite we currently have.

Having just checked this, he started the final 3 games of the season. He was "dropped" for the City and Liverpool games. Started 8 out of 10 games under Rafa.

My point still stands. He'd walk into this team.

I suspect remember the Improvement in him after McClaren left and Rafa came. I also remember him playing well for Liverpool for 5 years. If you want to vase your opinion on him whilst being managed by Steve McClaren, then that's fine.

Some Newcastle fans baffle me. Some people aren't bothered about us signing Trippier whilst others aren't sure about Wijnaldum. What planet are these people on? Both are streets ahead of anything we have at the club right now and would walk into our first team whilst instantly improving us. But some people are unsure? Mental!

They made such a big song and dance about getting clarity that we aren't owned by the Saudi state and now they're saying related party transactions have to be fair market value (PIF sponsorship) that they've left tje door wide open for us to be state sponsored.

I never renewed my membership after their complete lack of anything meaningful. Them still taking money for a share in the club is fucking laughable.

Not sure who I'd rather drop kick 1st out of those 2...
