  1. Can someone not ask the question tomorrow? Why wasn't this meeting held back until confirmation of the deal was made? We might get an answer we all like.
  2. You will hear my dulcet tones for 5 minutes at the start. I prefer my spelling if the word here. Sorry - wasn't picking you up on spelling. Just pointing out that I will be giving a 5 minute speech at the start of the event. I'm pleased it's going to be streamed live, definitely will be watching/listening to it.

  4. Live streamed tomorrow night. We might get to here from George Caulkin what the crack is with the PL tests.
  5. It's a good point. He would write an article on it. Expect an exclusive later.
  6. You expecting all that to happen In the next week to 2 weeks? Not at all. At the beginning some people were mwntioning this could take 12 to 18 months for the virus to resolve. Its not looking that way now. The deal will hopefully be done within 2 weeks though (hopefully). I doubt the economy will have started to recover in that time.

  8. Luke Edward's talks in absolute riddles. He constantly contradicts himself. Let's see how his latest tweet unfolds throughout today...
  9. What makes it even more baffling is, it was him that said the directors test didn't start until the 14th April. If that's the case, this time next week still wouldn't be over the 4 weeks it was said it could take to complete. So what on earth is he on about?
  10. I'm guessing that would depend on what was written into the official bid/contracts. At the bare minimum that would be the case. Pretty sure when this all broke, lawyers and journalists confirmed that he can’t pull out, there is literally nothing he can do to stop the deal. The only thing that can stop it is the checks and them not paying the money. Yeah, that's what I remember being said too.

They've got this crazy mental idea that pre 1992, everyone in the north east supported them and we had no supporters at all. Then Keegan came along and everyone started supporting Newcastle and that's why Newcastle now have more fans than them. All it takes is a little look on the following website to totally disprove this bullshit argument they keep peddling. https://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/england.htm Viewing both NUFC and safc's year on year average attendances pre 1992 will show you that most of the time, our average attendance has been higher than theirs. They just completely fabricate stuff in their heads, repeat it a few times to a few others and before you know it it becomes a mackem fact.
  12. He does it on purpose that absolute prick. He knew the reaction he'd get by saying what he said and has back tracked now with that latest tweet. Absolute fucking arsehole. I need to get away from social media and this forum for a few days, this is not good at all for anyones health.
  13. I'm pretty sure the lawyers of the buyers knew all of this before advising the buyers to pay a £17 million deposit.
  14. Was Wednesday specifically mentioned? Yeah by Caulkin He said it could be done by Wednesday but he's not giving that as a definitive. I've just listened to that bit of the podcast to make sure. I think it's safe to say the directors test is either very close to concluding or it already has based on what Caulkin said. It's going to be next week, possibly even the week after before we hear anything but everything still points to this getting the green light.

According to them they've only had 1 season in The Championship and next season will only be their 2nd in League 1, so surely they are due 1 more payment I never took in to account a little bit of mackematics. Apologies.
  16. Max a week, that’s if any of the reported issues are true. If not then tomorrow. I don’t think they are. Everything said is a rehash of what we have heard over the last 2 weeks, and that letter to the US was sent before the information from the perspective owners was sent. None of it is new information the Premier League, it’s just easy for the paper to write something about. Exactly. Why is it suddenly going to take a dew more days because of the Bein sport letter? That was sent in last week. Surely that was dealt with before now. It was probably on the agenda before the letter even reached the PL. This is just me speculating mind.

Parachute payments are no more for them next season either. Oh dear!
  18. If you want to listen to a negative spin, listen to that^
  19. George Caulkin said on Tuesday that he expected the O&D test to be complete on Wednesday. Then the transfer of funds can take a few days (2 to 5 days by some accounts). If all of the above is true it could be next Wednesday before the money is received by Ashley. There might not be an announcement until then.

Not like them to totally make stuff up about anything related to Newcastle to make themselves feel better, even though they know they've just made it up themselves. Work that 1 out.
  21. Agree mate, why the fuck would it actually bother anyone man ffs You've got to realise some people are just miserable twats all day every day.
