  1. Maybe, but I'm not Irish, my lass is though. We were stood outside most of the time chatting with a lad and lass from Mayo - good people, though he did have "Gouf ran ran" tatted on his bicep.
  2. Quite liked the look of Tobin. Was the spit of that french lad who bottled last season mind..
  3. Never met up fella, we're you in Doyles afterwards?
  4. Outside Doyle's now. Full of black and white, and the sun is out!
  5. Yeah, nearly said Doyles for closeness, just fancy a nice beer garden if the sun is out. It's about a five minute walk away. I'll drop you a PM anyway.
  6. Probably the Whitworth (old Porterhouse), we're aiming to be there by 12. Would have said the Gravediggers but it's harder to find
  7. Same as that Noticed their website has K.O. at 2pm but the ticket says 3. Hmmm
  8. No, second one hadn't happened and I don't think they'd remembered the first one by then. Think it was from '07. Probably an FTM on it somewhere though. Also, the club rep/secretary seemed to think the crowd would be mainly us and not many Bohs. Wouldn't have thought we'd bring loads like. Anyone off here going?
  9. Went down to Dalymount on Friday and picked up two tickets for the Bohemians game, ticket office was actually just "the club office" with the secretary selling tickets from a tin on her desk. Chatted with her for a few minutes, looking around at the various pennants left by other clubs, resisting the urge to dispose of the "please be our friends" sunderland one. Interesting little place, I liked
  10. Everton at home - last minute winner from Cleverley from a corner that should have been a goal kick?
  11. Can't abide Taylor, Sissoko, Wij or Colback either, but Coloccini by a mile. Many recent reasons, all eclipsed by this one - http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/lee-ryder-hatem-ben-arfas-7749616?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Probably the last time he led the team with any conviction.
  12. Man U player points gone now. Zeroes aal awa
  13. Awarded 12 points for De Gea and Valencia? It says they both played 90 mins and got a clean sheet, so I immediately assumed the points will get deducted. Not sure what will happen actually.
  14.  Damn, that's good.
  15. Three added gameweek boosters? Triple captain points sounds canny.
  16. I'd actually say no-one has done more and got less plaudits, in the wider fanbase and media. Your recollection of Hatem's workrate and output would support this. The only thing this board has built up is the fairly logical notion of Hatem as the antidote to the disease at the club, because he looked like he gave a shit (baffled as to how some think otherwise). The concession I would give to the anti-HBA argument is he may be hard to communicate with, on and off the pitch - and that, combined with the coaches/players/managers we have, has led to where he is now. I don't believe he's unmanageable though and his treatment here was a piss take at times. CBA to discuss his issues in his early days as I think he put a lot of that behind him with us. FWIW I only remember a few poor performances from him - a one off during the fifth placed season at home when we were on a roll, can't remember against who. The only others were his most recent, where he either got subbed on or got a surprise start, so looking back, with what we gather went on behind the scenes at that time, I can't put all of that on him either. In fact it's not a massive stretch to suggest that what we're currently being served up on the pitch and in the boardroom is what Ben Arfa was arguing about back then.
  17. Totally agree with that and your next post down from it, that whole due diligence "mistake" has been bugging more and more based on his behavior of the last 2-3 years. Look at how it has played out - Had to cover a debt he "didn't know" about, so we are now into him for 129m, interest free though, so that's nice. Since then he has shat his company banners out onto every available inch of the ground. Turns out that was a condition for loaning himself/NUFC the money to cover the debt (when did that become public knowledge?) So, several years on, the loan doesn't look like it will disappear, nor does the tacky advertising, in fact it seems to have worked out perfectly for him and his main concern - again. Aye, some mistake that.
  18. Would rather see him whipped instead It seems more suitable to throw things at him in the stocks. Nah, whipped ftw. We've had too many problems trying to get objects to connect with his head iirc.
  19. Going through this thread and discounting the obvious, I'm finding the more apathetic posts harder to take. Anything that starts "Good idea, but/however/unfortunately..", suggests all action will fail even though the poster shares the view that NUFC is falling apart, I think an immediate change of attitude from those posters could start a wider change. We can see how hard it will be to mobilise those with their heads completely in the sand and how long that might potentially take (longer without AO, N-O and others i'd guess), but you guys are there already, aware of the deceit, hurt by the destruction of your hopes and dreams. Time to look at the proposed action and say "Fuck it - I'm getting behind this". After all, unless your ego demands it, you'll gain absolutely nothing from being proved right and if it doesn't go the way you've predicted, you might get your club back, eventually. I hope i haven't offended anybody with any of this, I am aware I have aimed my post at real fans who have been through the mill and understood how it feels, as opposed to the "sheep" who won't see the reality, but I think changes can happen. Just look at this thread as an example - after the derby a certain "special" poster joined up and immediately derided any idea of action based on their view of the instigators, AshleyOut, and their previous campaign. This poster had nothing constructive to say,yet the forum persisted and humoured him - with pelters, admittedley - while continuing to ask "what would you do?". Now our special friend, mackem or not, has tons more info on our plight than he did when he began posting and is sat congratulating himself after he came up with an idea, and mooted another. Wow!! It might not look like much, but that's where change starts imo, so if you're not behind those who support the campaign but you want Ashley out, start your change now. We're all we've got, and we need to be united. This might be the time your voice counts Still not sure? Ask yourself this question:- a) Do Ashley/Charnley measure success in the same way you do? Sorry for the length, I don't post much and this has been building
  20. See that and raise you a Tadic. Aal the drugs http://cdn.ismfg.net/static/plfpl/img/shirts/photos/62399.jpg
