  1. Have they not been playing him wide Left in preseason?
  2. I honestly have no idea any more, I mean Bayern have just paid over £100M for a guy with one year left, Likewise Caicedo going for that fee after a year of looking decent. Fee's are utterly nuts and Chelsea seem to manage to rinse everyone for their academy products ??‍♂️
  3. I think Hall would be ideal if we could get it done, the lad looks to be quality already and still has room to grow with the team. But I can’t see Chelsea letting him go and certainly not at that price.
  4. There’s no way they accept this, has he not just signed a new deal and did Chilwell not go off injured yesterday too!
  5. That wasn’t just Liverpool trying to be cute to slow the game down there was it? I thought it was anti-football and not something they’d ever stoop too ?
  6. This has been shocking by both teams so far like
  7. Just the 9 goals for the lasses so far today ?
  8. Really hope the club include the online side of things, to at least provide decent write ups if not video highlights.
  9. Especially given it’s due to VAR taking forever to make decisions, why should the players be penalised for that?
  10. Watched 45 minutes of Maddison in a Spurs shirt and I think he joined the right club for him. He's picking up the mantle of England player who is snide as hell but gets away with it from the departed Kane
  11. Then why does every post read like Marvin the Paranoid Android on Ketamine? You’ve also been relentlessly negative regarding our transfer business
  12. Just had a quick browse at that thread on RAWK, they are so fucking entitled and oblivious to their own position. Complain about money ruining the game with no irony, literally a matter of hours after they bid over £100M for Caiceido. The poor little souls losing interest in the modern game, what about the generation of 70’s and 80’s kids who lived outside of Liverpool, who couldn’t watch televised football as their dominance made it so fucking boring. They played a big part in the back pass rule having to be introduced after all. Not to mention their part in the fact that English clubs couldn’t play in Europe for a decade due to their "peerless support". Seriously if not for Keegan making me fall in love with football in my early teens, I could possibly have never gotten into the sport. Man Utd's dominance in the 90’s without Keegan here, would’ve definitely see me throw myself fully into music instead.
  13. Aye but Haaland looked like a machine on Friday, two touches, two goals. Still can’t see anything other than a Man City win, but I’m more hopeful that we’ll give a better account of ourselves than we have in recent years.
  14. Think it was persisting with a high line that killed them today tbf. Was a bit weird as the game was probably closer than the score line reflects, but equally if we'd scored another 2 or 3 they could’ve had no complaints.
  15. There’s no way that Villa Watch is anything other than a spoof account, setup to get bites from Newcastle fans!
  16. Aye, kinda sums up the officiating of today’s match in general though tbf
  17. Going off too slowly when being subbed I think ??‍♂️
  18. How the fuck is that only a yellow? It’s a clear and deliberate act
  19. Seems to be their primary tactic, when things stop going their way
  20. I'm enjoying watching McGinn complaining here, my abiding memory of the game at their place last year was him getting a free kick for falling over all game
  21. That may be true, but with the exception of Liverpool and Man City, who managed to lay a glove on us at Hyem last year?
  22. You want more than 4? Why does everyone seem to forget that the 3-0 game was our third away game on the bounce, and fourth in 10 days? There was an awful lot of context behind that result and performance
  23. Im pretty sure they bought Martinelli as an 18 year old, so they saved money but he's not a product of their academy
  24. Schade at Brentford repeatedly rinsed him during the first half of the away fixture
