Think the main reason it was called off was so that the mackems could take some time to study this strange new clear substance that was falling from the sky.

They recycled some of the Sir Bobby songs for Joe Kinnear's heart problems as well.

I feel sorry for Rodgers like, I really do. The list of managers who could follow Daglish at Liverpool and get any kind of patience whatsoever from the fans is a very, very short one.

Don't really want him back tbh. As people have said, we've moved on from him, we aren't the same team we were when he did well for us and I don't think it would work as well the second time around. Plus there's all the uncertainty about whether or not he really decided to fuck off to Liverpool and leave us in the lurch because he thought the grass was greener, of course. -
He's turned out a bit like Williamson on his better days, a solid and no-nonsense player. A pretty good match up beside Steven 'Get to da choppa' Taylor.

Has that SirRickySbragia not had his say yet? Personally I can't wait to hear about his take on this latest blow in the battle of good and evil.

Aye, the one out of Monty Python. Could just imagine him making that little header back to Krul as nothing but a torso and trying to drag himself up for a corner with his chin.

It was Steven Taylor personified really wasn't it, he just doesn't give up on the ball no matter what the situation. He's like the Black Knight of central defending.

I liked him. Not sure if he was surprisingly quick or just seemed that way because every bugger else was knackered, but from first impressions he looks like another mobile midfielder with a canny touch, he should fit right in.
