  1. I think it’s where we’re going that probably interests him. Once the sponsorship comes in the spending will increase. I’d hazard a guess there’ll be a serious outlay on recruitment next summer
  2. Has a real imposing, commanding presence doesn’t he, enjoyed watching him play from the Gallowgate yesterday.
  3. I agree with you but I’m also very content with whatever moves they make to be honest. They clearly do their homework and look at all factors unlike the shambles under Ashley. If they think x player fits the bill then so be it.
  4. I think the attacking players were always going to be harder to get. Cost more, more competition, harder to prize away from clubs. We’ll sign a couple of players by the end of the transfer window.
  5. He’d be a great signing, would give us that creative edge we just don’t have.
  6. I think this is a pivotal season for me. Like you I envisage him leaving next summer and a replacement coming in but it’ll be interesting to see what happens this season.
  7. He’d definitely be a great signing
  8. I think this is definitely key, there’d be loads more space for the current midfielders to run into with a proper RW opposite ASM on the other side and with Wilson up front.
  9. Yes but as others have said you get randomised in the queue before 10am. It gives you a rough idea how long the wait in the queue is (shows how many ahead) and then you get your 10 mins to buy tickets once let in. Pre-season matches will be a full sell out probs, mad
  10. Yes we need many more goals from RW than either Almiron or Fraser offer. We don’t score enough goals, simple as.
  11. Thats fair enough. I really don’t have specific feelings about most of the players we sign. We have proper people scouting and assessing players. If Howe, Ashworth et al want a player that’s good enough for me ?
  12. Will be buying one tomorrow. Happy enough getting to the odd home game here and there.
  13. Seems like a real talent and the club have obviously done their research and decided he’s someone they definitely wanted so I don’t get this “well he doesn’t look that good anyway from fans”. That said it’s good we don’t take any shit thesedays and if the agent is badly advising him and asking for ridiculous demands for himself then I’m glad we’re walking away.
  14. I enjoyed doing this last season too. I doubt I’ll get to as many due to demand but getting to the odd match will do me
  15. So it’s effectively a lottery when you log in then
  16. Cheers thanks yes I see the second part ? I’ll give it a whirl tomorrow then FWIW box office has no idea roughly how many tickets would go on sale match but match but ill rejoin as a member again as a plan B
  17. I spoke to the box office about this earlier, they said Im definitely eligible looking at purchase history but I didn’t think I could see anything obvious despite being logged in ?‍♂️
  18. Yep seems like the agent trying to generate a bidding war and/or changing the goal posts re agent fees. I can’t imagine we’ll hang around too long if that’s the case
  19. This is what I can see when logged in. If I press the far right option season tickets info appears but no obvious option
  20. I bought tickets for pretty much every home game from Brentford but can’t see an option to buy a season ticket so I must be out ?
  21. At the top my account it just says home tickets then away tickets then the logged on gold symbol then the menu for further options ?‍♂️
  22. So it seems if there’s only 1000 new season tickets on sale there’ll be quite a few available match to match but likely for members to buy (not sure exactly what this figure is tho). Maybe season ticket holders might be able to buy 1 ticket but I’d imagine members will be able to buy two. Positively that means more people will be able to go match to match or am I getting my sums mixed up?
  23. I think this is a good summing up of our current situation. We’re getting the structure in place and buying the right sort of players for the current situation. With FFP i won’t think we can go out and make silly signings and I think they’ll go with Wilson, a new younger striker and Wood for next season plus a goal scoring RW threat (one or two may come in late on the window ofcourse). If you put that with our defensive reinforcements it’s starting to look like a really solid team which as stated above can get us into that 6th to 8th region next season. I think you’ll then see then us go again with a top striker and maybe attacking midfielder next summer and the players to start to nudge towards top 4.
  24. Great signing. If it means we spend more on attacking players too then so be it?
