  1. When you've got Pardew "managing" the side with his awful tactics you have to worry how we'll do whoever comes in. A it stands I agree, the window hasn't been a disaster but new players take time to adjust and we still have no fully recognised striker, are weak at the back and lack depth. The board/manager can dress it up anyway they like but they've done what's needed to probably prevent relegation and stay in the 10-14th bracket. We're a few injuries away from a crisis and like I've said with Pardew we're completely directionless.
  2. Yep agree with comments above, I'll watch matches down the local but the pure passion/enthusiasm has gone with this mob in charge. I certainly won't be going down the ground.
  3. Said something on friday/saturday I believe on this. Jesus wept
  4. Has Pardew started his "we have to thank Mike for releasing funds" nonsense yet?
  5. Exactly, the club needs to sign a recognised striker to replace Remy. Someone established who can hit the ground running and start knocking them in.
  6. So who are our strikers currently? New French lad Cisse Armstrong Gouffran Hardly inspires confidence does it. Alan Pardew talking about champions league ffs
  7. Given how we operate I don't expect to see anyone else come in but we desperately need a proven goal scorer to come in. Very light in that department.
  8. I just don't pay any attention to anything he says anymore. Utter cretin
  9. Saw him about an hour ago in the Italian on Ozzy Road, he definitely didn't look "in shape"
  10. I have absolutely zero faith in Pardew being able to manage players of the potential calibre of HBA. However something has also gone wrong with the lad in recent times over his weight. It's his professional obligation to maintain the best possible physical shape and nobody could say it looks like he's done that. Pardew is a clown I don't doubt that but I don't think HBA is blameless in relation to professional attitude.
  11. Sounds like an athletic player, the worry as always is that he won't receive the right coaching as with most players who arrive. Its good to see us signing a few players but for me Pardew will stand in the way of any genuine progression. Hasn't got a clue
  12. What still no quality signings? This coming season will unravel as quickly as it begins. To think people will hand over hard earned cash for season tickets when they're being fully taken for mugs. Each to their own obviously.
  13. Good I'm glad an agent has told it like it is. Why the fuck would anyone join us? I guess if you were a relative unknown to put yourself in the window for a bigger move, but not an established player.
  14. This season is the first time the interest has completely drained away from me as last season I still went to a good few home matches. There's just nothing about the club which makes me even contemplate walking back to St James, atrocious attitude at board level and crap football on the pitch = utterly joyless experience. I'll get the razorblades out, haha
  15. The spin as the summer goes on will be hilarious
  16. The whole "transfer rumour" thing. Amusing for the fact that we're tighter than a gnats chuff when it comes to spending Farcical
  17. I won't be going back for a long time
  18. Like any player he needs the shot in the arm of a new manager.
  19. Yeah how about assembling a decent squad with real tactics which aims to finish as realistically high up the league as they can and have a good in the cups. It's not like the fans are asking for Man City esque spending ffs. It's not rocket science or that difficult. John Anderson is always guilty of this on total sport "I mean what do the fans expect, we can't compete with the likes of Chelsea or Man City" Nobody ever suggests that you f***ing nugget Winds me up man listening to s*** like that! Or his lie down and take it attitude over protests

  21. Result means nothing, fuck off
  22. Says something when you're genuinely willing the other team on to victory Come on Cardiff!
  23. I think they'll win, Whickham is getting a few goals
  24. Just absolute 100% waffle from him all the time. I have to turn the radio off if he comes on Having said that I did catch by mistake that fat oaf Lowes on total sport ask "Pards" if he'd had reassurances about his position. Quite enjoyed hearing how uncomfortable and annoyed he was receiving that question.
  25. Different person, more of the same shite. Fuck off the lot of them
