It was clear e badly missed Sissoko in midfield but as good as they were we basically allowed Arsenal to play how they wanted. For me it was clear from the off we were going to lose the game. We could do with getting Aaron's involved again to offer a bit more zip on the wings, I think Cisse would benefit more from that. It was just the same old shit at Arsenal which was depressing really but to be honest despite recent good results we'll always have a result like this in our locker with Pardews limitations and players like Williamson hovering around the side.

Scored some awesome goals, great memories and yes probably mismanaged by Pardew too. But there's something chronically wrong with him if time and time again he's falling out with managers. You'd have thought going to Hull he'd have been desperate to prove a point but yet again it seems he's just not that fussed or generally lacking professionalism. I think there's a few on here who need to move on from HBA now really, he's been and gone.

Yep. There was no reason for Williamson to have played when Haidara and Dummett have been more than comfortable. Totally agree, this bloke should only be starting if no other option. He's shite, always has been, always will be.
-
Never mind 10 years he'll probably be sold in the next 18 months anyway
-
Great news but he's got a long way to go before we can start thinking about who he replaces in the side. A long way and he has to prove he can stay fit.

Ashley's a twatt, Pardew will always be an odious arse but some people need to have a word with themselves over Ben Arfa and look at the crux of the issue rather than half baked ideas for his ongoing downfall. Cracking player on his day, awesome talent but the evidence is there for all to see. For whatever reason this lad just can't get his down properly. It's a shame but that's the way it is.

Newcastle United 1 - 0 QPR - 22/11/14 - Post-match reaction from page 22

I still don't like Pardew, I still can't stand Ashley, I can't see myself going to the match but I am actually kind of enjoying the football now that these young lads are playing. Dare I say it's "interesting" at times and there seems to be some spirit. -

Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle United 26/10/14 @ 13:30 (no TV)

I'd be amazed if we got anything today given we're so poor at both ends. -
this is a prime example of unadulterated waffle that comes out of his mouth

I have to try and avoid his interviews, they wind me up too much. It's when he starts saying "ya know Mike really loves this club" that really makes me blood boil. It's going to be good watching him soon because I don't expect anything from our next couple of league games and think we have little chance of getting anything off West Brom if they have a go at us. It could be the end of November and QPR at home before we get our next points and even then we might struggle if the shithead is still here. His smug grin in tv interviews quickly sends me into a rage too The interviews are utterly pointless anyway, just 100% waffle and PR bullshit.

The difference with our club is that the owner is completely indifferent to style of play and given the ultimate aim is to finis mid table and not get relegated the manager can essentially do whatever he wants and won't be removed. The concept of removing Pardew, interviewing managers, bringing someone new in, negotiating contracts, money for new players just isn't something Ashley is going to consider while he's owner IMO. The fans are still pouring in watching this turgid football so as long as the stands are full and we don't go down that'll do for Ashley while he's here. The football side of football is a massive inconvenience to Ashley, he cant be arsed with that s***. Which confuses me why he bothers turning up to watch us, home and away a lot of the time. We're dull as f*** to watch with no ambition, a precedent he sets. Odd I honestly dont think he cares either way. He can get up here pretty quick in his helicopter and be back down south pretty sharpish as well. He'll be able to do all his gambling s*** from St James no bother. Good shout. To be honest and ironically I'm about as interested in NUFC at the moment as Mike Ashley is I don't look forward to matches, I don't get excited, I don't cheer goals and perversely I'm more intrigued at the thought of losses to see how that "might" affect the managers position. I've got absolutely no desire to go down the ground to see a match.....what a sad state of affairs.

Totally agree. Watching us play is like watching paint dry at the moment.

I hated Allardyce when he was he here but even he is completely showing up Pardew now. Atleast he can organise a defence and having moved Downing into a number 10 role and tried to play more offensively atleast he's shown he's willing to budge a bit on style of play.

Have they cut him off yet or has John Anderson talked down to him yet? Why does "Ando" constantly go on about it being unrealistic financially to expect someone to come in and bank roll the club to challenge Chelsea, Man City etc? WE f***ing KNOW THAT YOU KNOB HEAD. What we expect is a realistic outlay on players in relation to income, to have a go in the cups and aim realistically at 6th-8th in the league. Really does my head in when he trotts out that line. He is a moron, he is not worth talking to. He just rolls out the same old stuff after puffing out his cheeks. And take that brilliant call on total sport at 9.20 which I've just listened to again. He never actually EVER discusses or analyses anything which someone says when they're bang on the money. It always goes back to "yeah but dis ownah" or "we can't compete financially with Chelsea......" Just side stepping anything vaguely controversial. Boring as f***

I heard him briefly on totally sport saying something along the lines of "you know Mike really loves this club". That's the type of comment that makes my blood boil and he wanders why people think he's a patsy/charlatan/cunt ffs. Fuck off

Newcastle United v Leicester City 18/10/14 - 4pm KO
ExiledGeordie replied to Sima's topic in Football
IMO, you're wrong. Get rid of the s*** manager and bring in a positive manager and we'll be OK. The longer we keep Pardew the harder staying up becomes. Lose today, sack the s*** and replace him with a good manager and the whole atmosphere around the club will change. This is exactly what's needed unfortunately we have that moron who owns the club -
It could get really interesting if he loses against Leicester To be honest I've stopped reading a lot of the stuff at the moment. Partly because I'm bored if it all but secondly dislocated my shoulder on sat so have other painful concerns currently :-/ Apathy, grim

Mike Williamson he's shit man, always has been. When he starts sounding the rallying call you know we're fucked

It's a must win but whether we'll get it is another thing altogether, they look like a decent side.
