  1. Just been watching clips of this lad, real 6'2 powerhouse. Tracking back to defend while also surging forward into the opposition half. Would compliment Cabaye and really allow us to battle the best midfields around. Hopefully Tiote will come back into the fold like the player he was too.
  2. The prem funds next year are simply too great to be ignored, he's clearly seen that thank fuck. They probably had a good idea that some of these lads would be available this Jan too though same as with Cisse last Jan. The Reading result also might've forced his hand too especially seeing as he witness the debacle himself.
  3. I've completely lost track of days too with all this stuff going on!
  4. Not like the window shuts in a couple of days either
  5. I can't see why Taylor wouldn't start in this. If he was on the bench against Reading he must be very close otherwise why would he have been on the bench? He'll have had another 10 days training so he'll simply have to start if Colo isn't playing.
  6. They really need to sign another centre half if this is the case..........or was Mbiwa effectively his replacement anyway?
  7. Given that he's available at such a low price you'd think it'd be more of a case of some haggling going on behind the scenes. But yeah it would be good to see an official bid made.
  8. This. We're in a relegation battle ffs we need everyone pulling in the same direction.
  9. If he doesn't want to play whatever the reason then he has to be taken out of the side. We need everyone pulling in the same direction
  10. Martin Hardy is usually pretty spot on with is stuff to be fair
  11. Well there's still enough time for the "stand-off" with Toulouse to pass
  12. Well that's encouraging. Does seem ridiculous if as it seems he wants to come, we want to sign him and Toulouse don't want him and yet he might not end up here this Jan
  13. I disagree, he's replacing Ba and 13 goals. I was meaning value wise, but point taken, if we go down..... There's pressure on him alright if he is Ba's replacement. Cisse starting to bang a few in would certainly take the pressure off him a bit.
  14. Quick and has been getting a few goals for Bordeaux, certainly gives us another option anyway. Straight in against Villa!
  15. It's like this board is willing the signing on in Uri Geller style  Come on lets all focus our minds at once
  16. West Ham aren't exactly pulling up any trees at the moment, they could struggle second half of the season. Well I suppose they already are really
  17. Routledge has done more in this game than I've seen Obertan do since he arrived at NUFC
  18. I agree I'm just saying I could see Pardew starting Taylor and Colo if Taylor is over his injury as they've played together before, have a good understanding and its a huge game.
  19. If Ameobi or Williamson start I'm calling it quits I'm not far behind, especially if Gouffran signs. This is not the game for Williamson to be ANYWHERE near the starting lineup and saturday proved that. If there are any question marks over Taylor then Mbiwa should go straight in with Colo. I actually think Pardew will start with Taylor and Colo if Taylor is fit with Gouffran playing too.
  20. And making him train with the youth team
  21. Christ if we come away with 3 points I couldn't give two fucks how we get them
  22. Fingers crossed, just over a week to go so still decent bit of time
  23. The signing of Mbiwa is massive. The combination of him coming into the fold to add steel, Cabaye playing regularly again and getting HBA back into action could be the deciding factors in staying up. Sissoko coming in would just be one hell of an extra bonus. We're still in the shit but atleast the squad has had a much needed lift.
