Desperately need new direction, players look like they simply don't believe in him. (and is it any wonder)
-
Not surprised if Mancini gets the bullet. With all the money they've spent they literally just pipped Man U last season and have offered virtually nothing as a threat this season. Yesterday was just the icing on the cake in terms of inspid performances from a load of over paid primadonas.

Yes cannot work it out either as it lets the opposition come at us from the 2nd half starting and we are a different team from then on . The game at home to Reading really stands out. You could see McDermott and the Reading players thinking "they're bottling this, they're trying to defend a 1-0 instead of finishing us off". That gave them initiation and they played on our nervousness and took the game to us. Infuriatingly baffling why someone would send a team out in the second half like that tactically. Didn't he bring Shola on or move him to right wing too ffs?

I do wonder what he says if anything to the players at half time. So many times we come out and completely go into our shells, retreating nervously. I can't remember a team under a manager than can change so quickly from half to half. They can look absolutely fine 1st half and then absolutely capitulate second half. Fulham last season was an extreme, Norwich and Reading this season were examples on a "normal" level of "Pard tactical regression".

QPR vs Newcastle Utd - 12/05/13 @ 3pm (No TV) - a win confirms safety

That weird interview Pardew gave about potentially being out on his ear......well he better hope they turn in a performance today. If he thought he'd had some stick from the fans and press recently, if we were to lose today, christ. Hoping the playing time last weekend plus a weeks training means HBA carries more of a threat today. We can certainly win this but it all depends on how he sends us out. Colo back is massive as proved last week. Christ can we not just win and put this god awful season to bed please. -

This game just took on greater magnitude after today's result then -
Fair play Wigan, I don't like them but to turn up and turn City over. hats off to them
-
What a shambolic display from city, embarrassing
-
Has shown good signs, if he's played in his correct position he could be a real force.
-
Yep can't stand him. I used to like him but his recent antics with that tackle and he massively went down in my estimation. Absolutely ridiculous way to carry on in the face of such a shocking tackle by one of his players. Martinez can fuck right off too with his behaviour.
-
We will atleast be able to play against QPR without that little bit of pressure a Wigan win would've brought tonight. Lets just go and finish the job on sunday ffs
-
They'll take a pasting in the cup final too
-
Definitely the highlight of his career cock ups this one. I hope he's staring long and hard at that table right now because he's on the verge of doing the unthinkable. Cunt

Was always going to come down to the QPR match imo. Our survival hinges on getting a result there because if you assume Wigan get nothing at Arsenal then they would have to beat Villa on the last day

The management and the players owe the fans a performance here ffs -
If Wigan win tonight and the players look at the table, maybe then some of them will finally wake up ffs

Our play is just too cagey and cautious to be optimistic about winning. If we do win it'll be down to a moment of magic from someone as I just can't see us creating good, standard chances. -
Really thought the Mackems would edge it last night. They're taking a leaf out of our book in terms of making life difficult for themselves, the only difference is they showed some real heart second half to get back into it. How shit are Stoke though, Christ

Dread to think of the situation if we were to go 1-0 up.......................and then see Pardew calling the players to retreat to defend that lead for the rest of the matc -
Unlikely i know but it would be ironic if Wigan failed to win on Tuesday having put West Brom away yesterday.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

Great players (people are rating him at 20m plus) pull performances out of the bag in sticky situations. I don't see those types of performances from him at the moment, he's gone missing too often. -
I had a £10 bet with my mate last night that "if" Pardew is still there next season and we're in the championship the attendance won't be over 40,000 in the season opener

As much as the Villa fans taunting of us when we went down still grates me I have huge respect for what Lambert has managed to do under pressure recently. And as much as I can't stand McManacunt, Martinez and that old twatt of a chairman you have to hand it to them the way they keep going. Both those sides play decent football and keep going trying to win matches which is about as far away from us as you'll see. Norwich looked awful yesterday from the highlights I've just watched. Seems like we have to better their results to stay up barring some results we wouldn't expect like Swansea getting something at Wigan and Sunderland not getting anything v Stoke.
