he’s shite man 😂 -
Reasons to be optimistic - Botman returns in December and then we sign a couple of players including a RW in Jan 💪
-
Id like to see Osula start to get more minutes though. I mean it can’t hurt to give him 15-20 mins at the end of a game as he’s fast and strong and there’s no other striking option behind Isak.
-
Our complete lack of RW attack definitely affects his overall play as we’re so one sided. It’s much easier for teams to close Gordon down knowing there’s bugger all service (or minimal at least) coming down the right. A new RW would make a massive difference for him I think, would open up so much more space.
-
He’s already settled in London too though isn’t he, that probably came into it. Agree that everything went south when we couldn’t complete this deal especially as it seemed nailed on at one point.
-
Surely his last season
-
Whether that’s true or not I think Arsenal will go all in for him in next summer
-
I really hope we bring in a RW in Jan, it would make such a difference to our overall play and goal threat.
-
Jesus look at that stuff
-
Looked a lot fitter and sharper in general which was good to see.
-
Exactly this, we created chances just couldn’t stick them away. We’ve been crying out for some creativity and goal scoring threat on the RW for years though and it would make a huge difference to our overall play.
-
Even with his limitations I’d start him ahead of Murphy.
-
He gives us good creativity which is an issue because we’re still stuck with Miggy and Murphy at RW ffs. I think he’ll go in January anyway.
-
Poor finishing yes but whosever fault it was the ongoing lack of right winger after the transfer window and lacking our two main strikers definitely hurt us. Much of our play I thought was miles better than recent weeks away from home.
-
Yeah it’s mental that those two are our right wingers this far into the takeover. Wilson needs moving on too, his injury record is beyond a joke now (caveat - I kind of understand why with PSR we kept hold of him this season as a number, has to go end of this season)
-
The lack of a right winger and the injury issues over our two main strikers is the age old issue………
