Yeah I do think we need some positivity moving forwards. We need a good January window and some kind of statement of progression from Eales re plans moving forward. It all feels like it’s stagnated a bit at the moment.

I wonder if our overtake lack of intensity is partly down to the transfer window (or lack of) hangover and several players either keen to move (Trippier) or linked with move such as Gordon, Almiron etc. Feels like the side as a whole has lost that cohesion and energy.

I follow cycling and that lessens the impact from the negative aspects of football. It’s a great outlet.

We’ll get mullered on Saturday if we play like we have been playing, thankfully we seem to raise our game v City. At the moment as others have said he seems very unsure of his first 11 and is making so many changes e.g at full back. We’re terrible in possession and teams are piling through our midfield and onto the back four. Plus there’s the clear issues with Gordon and not getting Isak the ball. There’s loads of issues and I back him to get us back on track but we’ve got some really tough games coming up. Maybe that’s what we need ironically?

Yeah I’m not convinced by Bruno as captain either, I think there’s issues wider than that though.

The club is in a little bit of of a rut at the moment. Changes behind the scenes and clearly some clashes of personality and it feels like we’re suffering with a hangover from a car crash of a transfer window whosever fault it is. PSR has also definitively taken the win out of our sails too. Regarding Howe, he has worked wonders with the playing squad so far but as others have mentioned above he seems a bit stuck at the moment - unsure tactically and what his first 11 should be. We just look all at sea in far too many aspects of our game. There’s far too many players miles off form and lacking sharpness so who knows what’s going on. its definitely not time to press the panic button yet and I’m sure they’ll sort it out in the coming weeks. They’re going to have to tho as with the fixtures coming up if we keep playing as we are it could properly unravel and then who knows what will happen.

We look miles off it in so many facets of our game it’s a real concern. Howe doesn’t like like he’s sure of his starting 11 and is then making multiple changes at half time when things aren’t working. Everything feels very unsure and uncertain. The transfer window was a disaster and there’s clearly some stuff going on behind the scenes which is contributing. But if we keep playing like this we’re going to turned over by a few teams in upcoming fixtures and it could unravel in which case he’ll get the sack or he makes it aware to those at England that he’s interested in the job and goes there.

Definitely issues of sorts behind the scenes, all does not seem well. This result was definitely coming though and it’s probably needed to burst the bubble.
