So, 7+ yellow cards a game for us this season, for the first couple of month? Going by the 30 minutes of Southampton & Sheff Wed.

Could be a fantastic signing. Always wary after ACL injuries though.

He's been one footed longer than last season, it's the tactics that were sussed out mind especially when we were so one sided in attack and nothing was coming from the left side.

Wait wait wait...who's advocating selling Wilson ? There aren't many strikers around at all to replace him

We couldn't get £40m for him as no one else wanted him at all, even for the £23m. So that's his value. The fee makes a bit of sense when; We were looking to sell him (one of the main reasons really), doesn't fit in the way we play, injury prone, had no effect on our best season in a very long time so wasn't really a key player any more, his poor goal and assist return (1 assist in 2023!), incredibly inconsistent. He is enjoyable and fantastic to watch when he's on it, but he is on it rarely and that really doesn't sell well without g&a numbers.

So exciting when hes on it, long may it continue!

Hope we see more of our younguns instead of the '2nd string' this year, they've looked better in preseason!
