Said the exact same thing to my mate after the match regarding Campbell, never be a premiership player. Think he might even struggle in championship.
-
It was the goal they scored straight after half time from the freekick, like you said we just completley switched off for it and let them back in the game at a crucial point.
-
You've lost the plot, Ron. Simplest way out of this was to accept you may be wrong and were Santon's form to dip dramatically or he was sold, we've got a lovely left back in Haidara who's capable of filling the role perfectly well if he was needed to step up and be ready. Everyone makes an ill judgement from time to time, nothing to be ashamed of.
-
He'll never be ready to replace Santon, so he's just going to be a back up left back for his remaining time here. Yep, i'd say that's not making it here. Anyways, you're half way down now to getting yourself out of your mess, keep digging Ron, you're almost there.
-
There we go, pretty much saying Haidara will never be good enough here to replace Santon. Therefore he hasn't got what it takes
-
This is a lie, by the way. What was your exact quote? I remember questioning your logic to why you thought Haidara won't step up even if Santon were to be sold.
-
Why's that? Because Santon and Dummett are ahead of him in the pecking order, obviously. I'm fairly certain Dummett is not ahead, like. Did warn you, Yorkie. Know Pards inside out
-
Ron laughing as he only said last week that Haidara hasn't got what it takes to make it here.

I don't know if he was better, but both were at least equally s***, yet people rather have Williamson on than Colo. Against Man U I'd play MYM and Colo, no need for having Willo against technical players such as Kagawa and possibly RvP. Agree, thought both were a 5/10 kinda performance. Also would go with mym and colo against man utd, think he might as well.

The game is about results - or seemingly it was whilst Pardew was getting them...the result tells you that you are wrong. They beat us by 3 clear goals without their best two strikers. Your Emperor has no new clothes..... Which of their players last night would've been picked if he was a member of our squad? I'll save you the trouble of looking, none of them. Was he not joking? Surely he must have been?
-
He just never had a good game, he wasn't awful or anything, just made a couple of mistakes here and there. Just silly to say things like terminate his contract but you expect nothing less on here after a 5/10 performance
-
Was nice to see Haidara come on, he was excellent Monday afternoon so was nice for him to get some recognition for his performance with an appearance in first team.

aye, i was also the one praising pardew for the bounceback games during the 5th season too if you remember? i think we'll lose at the weekend still and then we'll see, fingers crossed as regards changing the tactics, well, changing them would be f***ing suicidal at this point but they need to avoid something demoralising vs. manyoo then get right back on it Agreed. Haven't seen highlights of their game last night so don't know if Everton were full value or Man Utd were unlucky but hopefully we can go there and just give a good account of ourselves.

It was the easier chance to create, as well. I just don't think he saw him. I thought Moussa had a good game last night, so won't be too harsh on him. His decision making in general when on the ball is shocking like. Really needs to improve this part of his game. Had a chance of a breakaway in first half and he was powering towards full back with acres to run into if he beat him and he decided to do a 30 yard cross field pass to Remy instead and it lost all momentum of the counter.
-
I see your point. Pardew's tactics might encounter the odd woeful scoreline, doesn't mean to say he should change them. We bounced back in the 5th season when we did come across one so hopefully we can do the same this time around. Wasn't really expecting going to OT on the back of 3-0 defeat, like. They haven't been too good themselves though without RVP though so we shouldn't build them up to be anything they aren't. They are losing their fear factor under Moyes imo.

Wullie Just like my scouse mate who hasn't been heard for weeks then pops up when suarez scores a hattrick and Liverpool have finally won again. You're the same just except when Newcastle lose. No shame in either of yous

Wonder what Tron's view is? He thought Cabaye's on Saturday was ball to hand, similar handball last night but it's easier to brush off a refereeing decision when winning than it is when getting beat.
-
Before Dyer's goal did you think we were going to get beat? Looked like it was going 0-0 half time, were you still thinking we were going to lose?
-
and yet when i said this, albeit in slightly more hyperbolic terms, i was given the "how dare you" treatment WTF? we'll get beat on saturday like, but we'll probably be more on our game than if we'd have taken something last night test will be the game after to see if we can bounce back Because the players were giving you everything they've got in recent weeks then you come on a forum and say they will get twatted when they arrive at OT even though Man Utd themselves haven't been doing great. Just felt they deserved a bit more respect than that. Yes last night we got beat, if you want to call it a twatting that’s up to you. I felt a bit let down by Krul the most but I can’t be too harsh on him because he’s been superb recently and he’s just had a bad game which has cost us. Don’t think it’s all doom and gloom. Like I said, if Krul tips that over the bar or punches ball out of danger then i really felt we were going on to win that game. Nevermind though, wasn’t our night and we just need to bounce back with a better display at OT.

We lost Cmon, hardly a time to cave in our belief after one game. Scoreline doesn't tell the whole storyline, for me anyways. Yes we were poor, yes we deserved to lose but things never went our way but that happens. First half i thought Swansea passed it around, we were comfortable with them doing that but we were breaking on them with purpose and carved out a couple of good chances. Then Krul makes an awful mistake right on half time which changes the whole context of the game for second half. Was really fancying our chanes till that mistake. Second half we came out pushed forward looking for the equaliser, once again shocking decisions from the ref (felt handball was again stonewall pen, thought the gouff one would have been harsh but if it's outside the box, ref easy gives a free kick). We then got caught on the break but very unfortunate for the ball to rebound of Debuchy after he did so well getting back. Then the third was awful again from Krul, keeper must be saving that but then again the baldy c*** should have sent off the other baldy c*** preventing him from scoring. Overall i felt Pardew went with the same tactics he's adopted recently which people have pointed out runs the risk of backfiring and last night it did just that. Krul's mistake turned the tide of the game and in the end cost us dearly. We weren't good enough last night though, we must improve on that massively if we are to get anything from OT. No need to panic, it was one defeat, it wasn't a complete shambles and it wasn't a twatting, we deservedly got beat but now we have to show the spirit in the side to bounce back again. If RVP isn't playing on Saturday, i still think we can put up a good showing.
