Exactly my point atm, players have to dive to make ref aware and out the question in their mind. If they stay on the feet, ref is given a far easier decision. Diving is a problem but poor officiating worse and far more costly!

It's like people said against WB, it was ball to hand, then again it's ball to hand for Remy, it's fucking dam right cheating and awful officiating! Then someone nuts out player then scores and our fans turn against our players! Joke! It wasn't deserved that scoreline. Yes they played the pretty football but created nothing till Krul's mess. I'm not being too down hearted, still class within this team.

Awful keeping, awful officiating! Put me in the excuse thread but this isn't a 3-0 game. We'll bounce back though , we are too good not to. Not what you want away to Man Utd but providing RVP still out, we can give them a go!

Done at our own game, pushed forward and got caught. Hasn't went our way today, nevermind. We'll come again.

Another blatant save!!!

f*** off! We cant even pass the f***ing ball! Nice overreaction. One mistake by Krul and cost us. 0-0 and everyone would be content we can still win the game second half. We were looking more dangerous than they were. Still not over just the mistake has made it very difficult. Shame no Cisse/Ben Arfa on the bench, first time we've really needed them now we are going in behind.
-
Players need to rally second half to get Krul out the shit, he helped them in the Spurs win, time for some to repay his performance. Didn't deserve that to be behind, was looking very comfortable! Hopefully that was our poor half.

Happy so far, going the way we would expect. Swansea decent on the ball with quick interchanges but not creating anything of note. Whilst we attack with a bit more purpose and look to threaten when we get the ball.

Interesting. Can only assume Giroud has a slight knock. Might take Bentdner first goal.
-
You could say he's not a player who you want in a relegation scrap but at the same time, it was his talent last season that avoided them such a scrap. Catch 22.

'I end up limping with cramps, but the fans like that' ...Makes us sound like mad fuckers who love to see pain on our players

If Berbatov is scoring goals and not looking arsed in the team, he's praised. If the goals dry up and he's not looking arsed, he gets a lot of critiscism. Been like that throughout his career. Just his style of play and it's never going to change if he's going for the title or in a relegation battle. I distinctly remember a time when he did something other then stand in place, lose the ball, and complain. Did the same for Man Utd and people would question his commitment for the cause. It's just him. If he's in poor form, it's like he's a waste of a shirt number. Was classic Berbatov earlier in the season when Parker told him to mark someone on a corner and he just stood still whilst his marker ran around him and nodded the ball in and Parker went ape shit. Berba just strolled back to the half way line like every thing was fine. He'll never change, always been like this. When in form, he's praised to the hilt and looks a class above everyone on the pitch. When he's in poor form, his attitude is questioned and is a waste of space. He got the same criticism at Man Utd. Will never go away because his style of play does look so lazy.

No thanks.

Once again, just opinion. I think Bentdner looks deprived of confidence when playing for Arsenal. He'll say something in the press how great he is though every few weeks. Fair play to him he can pull on the Denmark shirt and look a different player. He's respected there and a figure head of the side. At Arsenal he's not loved by fans, they think he's shit and he probably knows he'll never make it for them. If you think he's full of confidence when playing for them that's your opinion.
-
Agree with the middle ground but his potential is very exciting. Love having him here and hope he's here for the years to come.
-
Funny thing is, you're probably right

Should be capable of yes, but then in reality at the start of the season, relegation battle was being talked about or another season like last. Come in here and our squad is capable of top 4 with a couple of extra signings. You could go in the relegationometer and there's more towards the side of relegation than there is no chance. I'm not really sure what the big factor is that sways people back and forth. The gap between opinions just seems too big. A squad capable of top 4 but in another thread we could get relegated.
-
Crazy how much expectation has raised since our current winning streak. Before the season there was talk of relegation and another relegation battle on the cards. 13 games in and there's talk of boosting a couple of positions to challenge top 4 but we still should be in top 6. Top 8 would be an excellent achievement giving how things turned out last year. Steadying the ship after last season is the main priority for me and we are on course of doing that.

To be fair going from £20m for Cabaye to a swap for Ramsey before the goals started would rightly be questioned a little bit angrily He has doubled his career tally this season hasnt he? Think Ramsey sums up why confidence is one of the biggest factors in football. Think Bentdner sums up why confidence isn't one of the biggest factors in football. Do you really believe he's confident when he gets on the pitch for Arsenal? Not a chance. He can say what he likes in the press, that's not confidence on a football pitch.

Ah, that's true actually. All our loan signings in the Championship had varying degrees of success. Harewood, Hall and Van Aanholt all played their part. Khizanishvili less so... I was really impressed with him. Where is he these days? Really thought he had a good future ahead of him. Rated him more than that Bertrand. Top of the Dutch league with Vitesse iirc. Sure it was mentioned he made the national team the other week too Ahh well, least he's having his good future
