  1. Massive difference. Just no urgency or drive in final third. Comes to a point where they run out of options. Messi picks the ball up and will take someone on, try a one two, open the space. Rarely did Barca threaten, Neymar had a chance early in the game (good save) but apart from that can't really remember the keeper being tested. Bilbao contained them then looked to counter and eventually got their goal through it. None of the forwards today could grab the game by the scruff of the neck, Messi would have showed a lot more urgency in the final third. Why Pedro was left till 80 plus minutes to come on I'll never know, was crying out for something different off the bench. Barca only have themselves to blame for dropping points, they can hold no excuses.
  2. Are we watching the same game? Deserved? Sure Barcelona haven't been good by their standards, but they've been controlling the midfield and had the best chances. Bilbao should've had a defender sent off as well. Give over was it a sending off! Barca have been sloppy, Neymar has been awful, they were caught on the break regularly in first half. Was matter if time before they got punished. Best chance of the game was Bilbao's sitter from 5 yards which he fluffed. Barca just look a different side without Messi, hardly seen Fabregas in the game or Sanchez. Wait a second, bringing someone down when he's through against the goalie isn't a sending off? Also the five yards fluffed chance came after goal so it's irrelevant to your point about them having deserved the goal especially as Barcelona has controlled that midfield and Neymar missed two or three alone with goalkeeper. Have you watched Barcelona with Messi this season? Been pretty much the same side tbf, not too dominant but still creating plenty of chances, difference is Messi puts them in and Neymar isn't. To say they look a different side is pretty ridiculous, only difference is efficiency. Wasn't even on about that fluffed chance. Meant the sitter in the first half when he somehow bundled the ball into keepers arms. Barca deserve nothing and I don't know why you think they do. Bilbao have executed their gameplan to perfection so far.

    La Liga 14/15

Barca are so limited without Messi. No spark from them at all. Neymar has been dreadful so far. Only positive for Barca there was that they probably can't play much worse second half. Getting caught on the break regularly and are lucky to be going in at 0-0.
  6. Anyone who is watching the game? How is it going? Anyone looking likely to score? Any team dominating?
  7. I'd be dissapointed if you didn't follow that sort of trend, well played.
  8. Rooney is killing me here. Aguero best have his shooting boots on again.

    Alan Pardew

Not his pace but starting position. His positional sense has been much improved. Doesn't get caught out as much like he was.
  10. If you were being picky you could say for their goal that our entire defence got dragged over too much for the cross leading to their goal. But that's about it really. I was screaming at Sissoko for that, he was standing right beside Brunt then just stopped and didn't follow him as the cross was coming in. He totally switched off, had a mini rant at him for that. Made up for it with his goal though

Give over. Man, surely you would remember how many times he got outpaced last season? He got outpaced by Nasri in the first game of the season, that was worrying to watch. Would fancy Debuchy all day long in this form now though.

Give over. Was a matter of time before someone bolded that comment.
  13. Was unlucky yesterday with his strike, hit it sweet as a nut, one of those where if it's either side of the keeper, it's in.
  14. He's showed tremendous character to get over the form of last season, then his dreadful start. All credit to him for turning it around, he's been fantastic recently. Like how he's also putting some pace on his crosses now rather than them pathetic floaty Danny Simpson esque crosses from 30 yards out.
  15. It was too close to the defender IMO. The shirt pulling on Remy to prevent a certain goal on the other hand was scandalous. That was at the opposite end to me, looked like Remy had no reason to dive but couldn't see any major pull back. Haven't seen it back though.
