  1. Is anyone on here laying Courage? Or are we all in this together.
  2. On paper, it's a two horse race so I'm not surprised to see interest in Warcrown. Still rather have Moore on board than an apprentice though. Right so we are still all aboard Courage, we aren't jumping ship(horse) for the record.
  3. I'm just waiting for them to suspend all bets on Courage due to irregular betting patterns. Let's get at them!
  4. Shouldn't we be slightly worried that Warcrown is the daily market mover in the same race as Courage?
  5. Wilshere is definitely out. Scholes was world class, i agree best midfielder we have seen a long time however he's not that same player anymore. He's 37, he doesn't cover the same ground, he doesn't put himself about as much, it's easy looking good when your playing for Man Utd against poor opposition and spraying balls around the pitch. Could he do the same in a poor England side against better opposition? I doubt it very much. I'd much rather get a team together for the future and stick by it as much as possible.
  6. We may aswell just play Beckham Scholes Lampard Gerrard in midfield. We never seem to learn anyways. Get them all in. They used to be world class and they are the best we have to offer still. Golden Generation, one final hurrah....
  7. If you look at the alternatives, then yes. The joker quit England first time around because he was huffed at playing on the left to accommodate Lampard and Gerrard in the middle and then turned us down last WC when we offered him the chance to come back. It's embarrassing that we are begging a 37 year old out of retirement a week before the squad is announced and a month before the tournament starts.
  8. Do we actually want Paul Scholes back?

    Alan Pardew

not picking dave out by any means, as i def said worse, but this post (from a balanced poster) shows how unbelievable and unexpected this has all been. No, lets pick on Dave. What a stupid f***ing post that was - eh - Dave? Don't you look a bit DAFT right now. Aye. Thick as mince, wor Dave. Amazing. Dave's gone into hiding, ashamed of how he managed to type such words. Sheer Blasphemy!

    Leon Best

His fitness record isn't good enough for him to be a reliable backup. Neither's Marveaux's (his is worse), but how many times have I seen you banging on about him? I'm happy to keep as many players as possible in the summer, the like's of best, guthrie, perch, obertan will all have important roles to play next season with lots of midweek matches and more than likely against inferior opposition to start with and they will be needed to give others a rest. Best thing we can possibly do is keep as many people as we can and add a couple of more players to add to the quality we already have.
  11. One game to go and my mind is still doing flips

    Arsene Wenger

People who question Wenger as a football manager and labelling him a joke obviously have no clue about football. He believes in his team, he believes in his football philosphy of how football should be played. He maybe naive at times but it's only because he believes himself that keeping the ball on the floor, passing and moving is th best way for his side to beat any team in the world, weather it's Barcelona or Acrrington Stanley, or weather he is 3-0 down nd 3-0 up, he won't change his style.
  13. Used to hate Neville but now Redknapp is the c*** between the two. I think Neville is a good pundit, well, the best sky have anyway I absolutly hate the cunt and i thought he would be horrific on SKY but actually he's decent and one of the better tits on TV.

f***ing hell Highlight for me: Pure gold! How thick is that guy, my word! Unbelievable Jeff! That thread is something else! How the fuck did a simple Indian Resturant opening turn so sour haha Tom Hinkley or is it Hingley!
  15. Then it's......Hart, Walker, Dawson, Ferdinand, Cole, Walcott, Parker ©, Milner, Lennon, Rooney, Crouch/Defoe
  16. I just want a manager who will come in, pretty much write of the Euro's, take a team that will be going to the World Cup and stick with a squad of youth up until 2014 bar any injuries or dramatic dips in form/class. Something along the lines of: Hart, Richards, Cahill, Jones, Cole, Oxo, Wilshere, Cleverley, Walcott, Rooney Sturridge.

    Shola Ameobi

To be fair KK did try, he almost got 2.5 million for him aswell, that's like selling Carroll for 35 million. So close yet so far away. Shame.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

You saying he played last night? man of the Match in todays Daily Mirror. Doesn't suprise me, Newspapers rarely get the ratings correct unless the game is televised, laughable half of the time. The Sun give Colocinni a 5 out of 10...same rating as Shola. Thought Guthrie worked hard but didn't offer enough of a threat to blackburn in keeping possesion and dictating the pace of the game, missed Cabaye.

Sess has been given time and patience, neither of which Ben Arfa has been given.
  21. Couldn't resist not posting in this thread any longer, 3 points off champions league, their we are, Newcastle, 5th, hunting down the champions league spots whilst picking off the more likely challengers, leading the race into the Uefa Cup but steamrolling towards to the top 4.......... I can't contain this kind of excitement, my mind is doing flips..........
