Care to point me to some of these posts you seem to have read where people are drawing wide ranging conclusions based on 2 friendlies? Seems reasonably fast and quite strong for his age and size. I don't think he will ever be an effective threat in the air though, but he is a combative, tenacious little player who keeps a team ticking over by keeping possession (likes to play the simple ball instead of the Hollywood cross). You know who he reminds me off actually in the way he played today: Vurnon Anita! How is that a wide ranging conclusion man, just pointing out what I saw on the day.. Not going to lie, had a cheeky little wank over Bigi last night. Thought he was tremendous. Got stuck in, sprayed the ball around well, close control was lovely, was composed on the ball like he had all the time in the world, love to see more of this in the upcoming friendlies. Amalfitano looked like he was trying too hard to impress and nothing was really coming off for him. Can see he has ability just needs a bit of time to settle down and get comfortable in the team.

I personally think it's 1-0 to Rodgers. Doesn't want this oaf in his side as he wants his team to be good technical footballers who play an attractive style. Getting AC out of the door is a necessity for him.

Quite suprised that according to the poll, majority would have him back on loan. Think we should be staying well away from this one. Far too many negatives outweighing the postives in this deal. Can kind of see where we are going with this one in the sense he can give us a different style of play if needed, but personally think we should just be staying well clear.
