  1. Joey Barton simply couldn't resist having his little petty dig at the owners of the club, fair enough, the child got his point across, then he goes on to try and question our signing of Santon for some strange reason making himself just look like more of a cunt than he already is. Fact still remains we are left lacking a cutting edge up front along with a lack of cover for our two CB's. On a positive note...we have Ben Arfa to come back...remember him...like a new signing...again!
  2. Aye, me too. Especially for around the 4 million mark, got better and better for Everton as he adapted to the premier league, still got a lot to learn but definitly showed he was capable.
  3. Along with Taarabt, ouch! Which one will be first to cry?
  4. If your interested in a lil tip on the good old horsies...get on workforce in the king george on Saturday and double it up with Frankel in the Sussex Stakes on wednesday... Tasty 9/2 with hills! Loving the 4 fold on the first day of the scottish calender though
  5. Profit is Profit...accumalate that win on to your 7/4 Ben Arfa quote and the profit becomes 17.50...Wowza!
  6. Positive thinking As for getting my hopes up...i think the 4 million valuation kind of told everyone to laugh
  7. No, it's called being a bloody journalist. He tweeted about a report in another newspaper then tweeted it was bollocks when his 'sources' told him so. It's called being a bloody cunt in all fairness to Mr Ryder!
  8. It was only this morning Lee Ryder was posting we had a 4 million bid in for Charlie. Then an hour later posting that we haven't. That is what you call being guilty of playing with supporters heads. At least Pardew has come out few hours later and clarified the situation that he's off to another club, obviously sounds like Villa with 2 + 2 calculations.
  9. Start of the season, 3 game Inc the mackems not matter to you then? If we sign Long and Erding on Aug 31st and they combine 15 plus goals each and we finish top 10 with mackems falling well short and the we stuff them at SJP not really. Our current squad is still capable of getting a result at their ground. EDIT: If you think our current squad couldn't cope with the first 3 games of the season you must have us down as a nope hope for next season.
  10. Pardew's recent comments have angered a lot of fans and rightly so but surely it was best for him to come and tell us about N'zogbia rather than drag this on the whole summer with false hope. His comments about Enrique have kept us in the light as to what the situation is, along with our transfer target Erding. None of these have been particularly positive but he remains adamant that another striker will be brought in and hopefully another player on top. It's only mid July so it's not time to kick up too much of a big fuss over Charlie and start hitting panic buttons over one player, but we can still remain positive that we will sign one or two more players to improve our current very solid starting 11 and increase our squad quality. September 1st will truly be the day we know if we have been messed about all along or if we were in fact too quick to criticise the current regime’s summer transfer dealings....not July 14th.
  11. Yeah my thoughts exactly, no Carroll money meant nothing on wages/signing on fees, so no frees either. You can't really believe it's that simple. Ian your talking to a bunch of clowns who believe they know the accounts better than what the club does. Just this bizarre reverse logic about a situation without the Carroll sale is mental IMO. Obviously we wouldn't have had a budget of 0, just like now we don't have a budget of £35m. The whole financial picture for the club over the next however-many years has to be taken into account. Anyway, we've talked about this til we're blue in the visage. So without the Carroll money would we have still spent a 4.3 million on transfers and a couple of really expensive free signings? I think he would spent pretty much the same because when he says every penny of the 35 will be spent, it's just saved money out of his own pocket which he would have had to fork out anyways. 35 million on top of everything else that would have come in anyways is a lot of money which were never ever going to see spent on the team.
  12. Is that any different to any other club? Manager asks for a player, money men say yes or no. Not every club received £35m in January tbf. Or spent a fortune on agents/signing on fees after promising that would no longer happen We haven't spent a 'fortune' on signing on/agent fees, it's just a f***ing excuse man. Of course we haven't, it's a complete and utter lie I got hammered for these types of comments the other day about our free transfers!

  14. Has Cwunt hit back with any bullshit that #zogonthetyne is still arriving and he is 150/1 with william hill to sign for us?
  15. Couldn't afford him Not suprised....we spent our 35 million in the first month after the season ended on free transfers
  16. I still can't believe he actually rubbished his own rumour...it's genius
  17. Neither does Colocho. Brilliant
  18. 20 million out of our 35 well spent...
  19. How far is the ground from the train station or how far is Hogan's from the station?
