Fair enough, just an opinion. Was 3-1 in favour of not a penalty who i was watching with last night. It's done now though, Barca gifted a lifeline back in the title race. Sill hope Madrid go on to win it. Gifted a lifeline. Come on you troll, they were better throughout and got a penalty against them that never was. Not changing my stance, i don't like Barca. End of Like Fabregas trying to rattle Pepe even though they'd just scored a goal. Picked out a nutter who would bite and he didn't let him down Madrid only have themselves to blame though for throwing away the game. Too many missed chances, mainly for Benzema, who badly needs replaced imo even though he did get a couple.

Fwiw, it's always been like that. Jose had communication from his hotel to the bench during his CL ban. Sure managers are aware of what is going on. Not saying it's right, but mangers aren't going to kick off when they too could end up in that situation, especially someone as hot headed as Pulis.

I'm saying if that was our derby match and Johnson squeezes between Debuchy/Tiote then goes down screaming and a pen is given. I doubt people would be saying blatant pen in that situation. Was so soft and i just don't think there's enough in it for me. Then the second point was i thought the ref was shit throughout the game tbh and will be lucky to ref that match again, even though i have no idea what his reputation is like.

'Hatem Ben Arfa waited, unmarked, on the right wing but Cheik Tioté ignored him and instead hit an optimistic pass towards a crowded penalty area. When Crystal Palace cleared with ease, Newcastle United's most creative player turned to the bench and shrugged' That was worrying...he did it again with Anita. He didn't get the ball when he should have done so then decided to just not get involved in that attacking play when he could have moved elsewhere. Could see he was still a bit off the pace but the magic was still clear for all to see, hope he gets his starting birth back once fully fit. Gouffran is just offering nothing to the team atm, hasn't done for a while.

Billy Davies on verge of the sack at Forest now. Was a few on here who wanted him to manage us a few months back when he was flying high

Was refreshing to see Madrid giving it a proper go again after circus Jose turned them games into. Di Maria was outstanding, i'm not his biggest fan but he works so hard for the team and prefer him a lot more in that role.

If that was A.Johnson, then Debuchy and Tiote, i bet people wouldn't be crying 'blatent penalty' then. Was ridiculously soft, i thought the ref was poor throughout the game. He hadn't a clue when the best time was to play advantage or give the free kick, amount of times he got that decision making wrong was crazy. Obviously the Madrid pen was awful considering he was 3 yards from the foul to see it.

You should rather be p*ssed off at the two Real Madrid players that chose to turn Iniesta into a sandwich due to their awful positioning. He's played for that, he wasn't getting the ball and he's trying to squeeze through a gap that was hardly even there. Ball ricochets off Xabi's leg, Iniesta feels contact and takes a tumble and screams. Would have been the softest of fouls outside the box let alone a penalty to win the El Clasico.
-
Still pissed off the way Iniesta went down for that pen, cheating bastard screaming like a girl 3 yards away from the ref

Ashley Cole will be the big call. Before season started he would have been my first name on the team sheet. However I've always believed if you aren't starting games for your club, you shouldn't be starting games for country if there's good competition, and the left back spot is red hot with it.

we could start with their manager We can only dream

Shows the passion and commitment the players still have. That reaction was superb and hilarious at the same time.

I was like Andy Townsend there 'Get in, YES'

been at the optimism juice early this morning brett i see When Anita picked the ball up, look back at the only player making runs...Cisse. He drawing his defenders left right and through the middle. Was constantly finding the right space to be in but either not being picked out or missing his chance. With more confidence, he could have had a hatrick yesterday. Still maintain there's a prolific goalscorer in him if we keep faith. A lot have turned on him but you could see after the match how much that goal meant to him, was a joy to see.

10 seconds before as they were lofting a ball into the box. That pissed me off actually especially as RVP wasted a fair bit of time prior to the 90 then went through a bit of the added time.
-
Aye, sorry came across like it meant he give the time. Just meant he had a mare in telling 50,000 people there's only 3 minutes Palace got what they deserved
-
I'd still sign him now even though he hadn't scored. Think his goals will come, he's just not going to be prolific but he offers the team a lot and needs the right striker beside him. Thought Cisse's movement yesterday was world class stuff. Don't think he's the perfect partner for LDJ but he did his best.

Do you know the rules of football? It's the referee that decides the added on time. The referee can play beyond the 3 minutes, it's indicator of time, doesn't mean to say has to end then. If Speroni in that time takes another 30 seconds for a goal kick, ref is more than capable of going beyond the three. 4th official was made to look the idiot when 3 minutes came up, no thanks to the ref for doing so but sure ref clicked on he'd made an error when the moans and groans from the crowd came up at only 3. That's pretty much the least you get after the 90 and the way palace time wasted, that just wasn't enough.
-
Thought he did ok yesterday, few people around me thought he was shocking though. I thought his hold up and link up play was good but couple of times decent balls were crossed into the box and he showed no attacking desire to get on the end of them. You would think he'd be busting a gut to get on the end of a cross, especially the way he tracks back well for the team and shows desire there.
-
Seen a few people picking up on timing on the goal. The 4th official had a mare anyways with just the 3 minutes, all subs were used and Speroni was constantly taking forever and a day on goal kicks. It's refs decision to play what time he sees fit, in this case that 3 minutes wasn't enough. Anyone who feels Palace were hard done by are wrong, so wrong. They deserved to take nothing from that game, absolutely nothing.
-
Chances we created? Cisse could have had a hatrick? Why are people being so negative? Yes we left it late, very late but second we had them pinned in. Ben Arfa made a real difference, Palace always going to be hard to break down but we created enough for a goal at least. Before Ben Arfa we deserved nothing but that magician changed the game for us.

Drop Rooney for England and play Welbeck

We thoroughly deserved that win, if that was 0-0 we would have been very hard done by. Thankfully with patience and genuine class, we got that win. Attitude first class from the team and they can be proud of that. Typical Palace came to frustrate and they did their best but just fell short. 10/11 home win once again rolls home, love it.
