  1. Moyes takes the lead, Moyes puts his team on the back foot...standard!

    Paul Dummett

You've got to be f***ing kidding, right? Hate this kind of attitude. Instead of getting behind him all the time, typing up nasties about him is just not on. If he comes and reads this, his confidence will be shot. Hate fans like this. Hope his confidence is shot and he never plays again for us, good thing. Haidara pls. Jesus f***ing wept. Christ, did Dummett p*ss on your cornflakes Brett? Everyone except Pardew do. No it just frustrates me when we've got a far better player in Haidara who has looked a class above reserve level, was first one picked to come on for Santon, now has disappeared. We are left with such uninspiring displays from Dummet and his shit set pieces. Santon or Haidara need to get back in ASAP.

Or maybe Pardew hasn't got a clue and after losing 3-0 at home (again) has flip flopped (again) and decided playing 10 defensive grafters isn't such a good idea after all. Whatever floats your boat...

Well after his cameo against Palace was met with praise by Carver then Pardew was happy with his application against Everton maybe they both feel he's getting back to where he should be mentally and should start?

Man Utd can't point to results. They should be in the top 4 yet Moyes still never turned to one of the most creative players at his club. What could Jol and Meulensteen use for excuses not playing Taarbat in their sides when struggling? Now he finds a game for Milan? Can't just put the blame solely at the managers door. Ben Arfa is my favourite player at the club by a distance and it's frustrating not seeing him play but also hurtful when Carver is hinting he's not even interested before a match and not paying attention. More issues here than simply play him and everything will resolve itself.

As football fans you want to see those players playing as much as possible but managers don't see it as simple as that. Like Kagawa at Man Utd, Fergie and Moyes both struggling with him when every fan of football wants to see him starting weekly. Sometimes you need to question the player, even though it's infuriating you're missing out on seeing them play football.

It's like Taarabt, he really should be walking into a side like Fulham's with the talent he's got but found himself on the bench just as much as starting. It's not a fault of the manager, it's the player's attitude to football as well. Now he's at one of Europe's biggest clubs and trying to make a name there, same player sitting on the bench at Craven Cottage when they were bottom of the league only a few months ago.

So Sherwood's managed it in less than 6 months, Pardew's never done it during his entire managerial career of 10 years plus. Just saying it might tell you something about football philosophies. There's not many of these Ben Arfa types around though. Every manager will have had their struggles with this type of player in their managerial careers. Pardew has shown he can work with flair and play them, doesn't mean to say they have to have a horrible attitude to football to prove himself.

That wasn't a criticism of Sissoko, I like him. I think Remy has a lot more skill in his locker than he's been given credit for on here. Seems to be like we think he's one dimensional but very good at it. He lights up the team when he plays and offers excitement and it's not simply because he can run fast and is strong.

Suppose everyone will it see it differently. When Ben Arfa/Remy pick up the ball in space, it puts you on the edge of your seat because you think they'll make something happen for the team, that for me is because of the flair in them.

He hasn't, but how many managers in the PL right now have done that? Everyone is saying Sherwood is shit but he's getting the best from Adebayor? Does that make him a great man manager? Ridiculing a manager for struggling with Ben Arfa when he's been difficult throughout his career is harsh.

Remy and Sturridge are flair players as strikers. They pick the ball and you know instantly they'll be looking to beat a man with skill or pace and get their shots away. They excite you when they pick up the ball. Remy certainly has the flair within his game, he's more than just athletic like Sissoko like people are making him out to be.

Remy? Hardly a flair player tbh. Give over, course he is. Well he's a player with flair who is a piece of p*ss to manage. He even looked handy in that God-awful QPR team last year, in his first half-season in the best league he's ever played in. Well the question wasn't 'name me one flair player who is difficult to manage but Pardew has managed him well?' You got an answer to your question then twist it around and say he's piss easy to manage so that don't count
  14. Think we'll get fuck all from this, minus 2 Southmapton. We need Remy/Debuchy back and fast. With them two, would have fancied a good end to end game.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Remy? Hardly a flair player tbh. Remy has a lot of flair in his game, picks the ball up and likes to beat a man and get his shots away which can bring the fans to life whenever he's on the ball.

Least Pardew admitting his application has been better and Carver admitting he's been listening to the team instructions prior to games and before he comes on. Can only bode well for Ben Arfa and the team if he carries that on.
  17. Some painful performances from Madrid tonight, not least of all Bale. Rakitic, the cheeky fucker, take a bow!
  18. This is me, can't stand them. Keep hearing good things regarding them, then when i bet on them or watch them, they are awful and drag the game out. Detest Rafa!

    Adam Armstrong

Written off for a PL player and rightly so. He's 20ish now, got no time at Carlisle, currently struggling for a place at St Mirren and has been outshined in reserves. Sorry if i feel he'll not make it in the PL.
  20. Who in Liverpool's team would you swap there? Two or three tops?
  21. De Gea, Rafael, Rio, Vidic, Evra, Januzai, Carrick, Fellaini, Mata, Rooney, RVP...that's easily 3rd best in the league, imo. Still leaving likes of Kagawa/Nani/Welbeck/Hernandez out from an attacking perspective.

    Papiss Cissé

Well through the middle we've got that famous playmaker Vurnon Anita. Then out wide we've got Dummett and a centre forward to provide quality crosses from the left, then from the right the crosses are winging in from a centre back and central midfielder. Well Cisse might not get much service from that line up, but crafty Al has made sure we don't concede goals with such a solid line up. Blame the manager, suppose it's an easy cop out, like. Probably carried Cabaye to Paris on his back. Nobody is forcing him to play a flat 4-4-2 with 3 centre backs and a midfield composed of a centre forward and 3 central midfielders. Injuries pretty much are tbh.

    Paul Dummett

When he's playing, i'm happy to support the lad, soon as he's off the pitch though, i'm just as happy to slag him off to the championship.
