Yeah, sorry about that. Took him first goal

Shaw and Clyne are both decent fullbacks imo.

Alan, you've got another challenge. You've successfully completed every challenge Mick has thrown at you (bar say nothing at all...ever), someone else now fancies a go. Good luck.

Far from, Laurent Robert is my favourite Newcastle player in recent times and i hated it when they would try and force him to track back. Did more harm than good he was that shit at tackling or tracking back. I think if the talent is in you, just concentrate on what you do best and let others do the dirty work for you if you have a good team spirit who happy to accept that.
-
By the way, i'm not saying work rate doesn't matter but some players you just have to accept it's not in their nature to bust a gut when they go on the field. If managers want to drop players for that, that's their decision right or wrong. Personally i think you can afford to give certain players a bit a leeway and the likes of Adebayor/Berbatov and yes HBA are those who could be let off slightly when it comes down to it.

Probably because he's lazy as f***, for the most part. Premier League and it's work rate Go on a spurs forum and ask the same question. "premier league work rate" is such a lazy comment. He just can't be f***ed and will turn up when he wants. Spurs fans I know hate him and wish he would f*** off asap. I'd have him here in a shot given the chance, still got a good couple of year in him at the highest level. Players like him and Berbatov just go at their own pace. When things are going well people say they are a touch of class, when things aren't going well, they say they can't be fucked. You take what you get from them. Both will have their fare share of off days but when on form they are class acts.

You've just mentioned two claims from him that are polar opposites, he can't win with some because he talks s*** and you've just proven that yourself. I have said before I will ignore his bullshit because it is exactly that, people like you will slate him no matter which end of the positive/negative spectrum his comments fall. Why not do the same rather than getting yourself riled up every time he speaks? You just seem so desperate to slag him (and every other manager off) you are predisposed to getting angry every chance you get.

Happy for Adebayor, can never understand why people don't rate him. Got everything on his day, like. Another player who needs confidence within the side he's playing, if he's got that he be unstoppable at times.

The Battle For More Points than 2010/11 - SUCCESS!

You mean we can actually win games and not rely on Remy's goals like previously suggested? No that's forbidden talk, we only win matches because of Remy's goals On a serious note though, you're right the fact basically our main goalscorer is now in a poor spell but we are still winning. You can't imagine Remy not popping up with a goal or two sooner or later. If his form doesn't pick up, we've got options in Ben Arfa/Cisse to come in, that's the positive thing about this current squad, we've got good options who can all play different roles in different formations but not lose rhythm. We've had a great start, but I still think we look a bit powder puff up front. Either Cisse needs to be in the first team and scoring goals or we could do with another striker to take the load off Remy. With the start we've had, January could be a great time to bring one in to push on rather than making signings to stay clear of the relegation zone like last season. I think if a deal is done, it will be Gomis. Other than that i can't see us bringing anyone in but not selling any major players either. Ashley does like a January bargain though so you never know who might pop up. Can't see any major players leaving, couple of back ups out on loan maybe. Still haven't give up hope on Cisse, think he may have a big part to play in this side second half of the season and will pop up with some important goals. -

That season came as a big surprise to me as i didn't think we would improve that quickly, so the shock factor for me made it better. I fancied our chances of competing with the best this season even after last years abysmal run. This is more of a relief feeling than a shock, both tremendous though. -
Already down to 9/4 best price. That's still an excellent price, i really can't see him not being on the plane. Our midfield options are tragic. Who's that with? Might stick a ton on that.

He was loving those as well last season. I thought Simpson had passed on a tip for him and told him we love giving opposition keepers catching practice. Thankfully this season he's getting a lot more pace and whip on his crosses, much better. His positional sense has come on leaps and bounds defensively too, got caught out too much last season and his lack of early pace was exposed for it. Great to see a top right back at the club, i've never seen one in the last 10 year. Although I did like Beye, he’s done shit all since he left.

Well they hadn't conceded in the last 4 home games prior to us and won the two previous 1-0 so i think they have the capabilities to grind results out. Don't get drawn in to the fact it's only Palace we beat 3-0 and they are shite. That was a tough fixture and we've done very well to make that game so comfortable for ourselves, like Pardew said, not many teams will be winning 3-0 there this season. Was credit to us for getting a grip on that game fairly early on and spoil Palace's tactics. Given the conditions that game could have easily turned very scrappy but we played through it and showed a lot of class out there.

"Palace have their tails up and it's a sweet feeling. I don't think many will come here and win 3-0." He's spot on there. They are a poor side but they are very capable of grinding out results and making life tough for you. We did superbly well to make that as comfortable as it was given their recent revival. Feels nice just to have 90 minutes of controlled football under our belt. Hopefully we can have these games more often.
