Must say, not going to feel completely nerve-free until I see @Johnny’s team prediction -

They might have a short spell at the start where they knock it about ok, but if they don’t get something early their arses will fall out. They have a toxic crowd, a shit manager and their confidence is shot after an awful run. It’s not going to take a lot for things to get toxic again on Thursday. We’ve been so solid defensively that they’re going to struggle to score so I’m seeing only a win or a draw for us here -
Bed-wetter chronicles #33: After Newcastle had all but secured their premier league status, whispers of unease developed in the camp. People questioned what was going on with ASM, had he sold his soul to become half-man, half card-game? Returning to the Newcastle team like Gambit from the x-men but with his sights set on crushing Amanda Staveley rather than Everton’s crumbling defence. Elsewhere, rumours gathered pace that PIF were planning to sell NUFC to the Tiger King in an elaborate stitch up, with their heads turned by a club currently unable to be sold. Tune in for Bed-Wetter Chronicles #34 to find out what happens next

I didn’t mind a Viduka at all, Duff I never liked much and I genuinely did dislike him when he left us and celebrated like crazy when he scored against us. Owen, is probably fair enough actually, such a nonentity of a person. Who else was in that squad? There were some likeable players right, Enrique, Coloccini, Harper, Martins, actually had time for Guthrie too, Bassong -

Bloody hell, seeing that and reading Grand Old Team, they absolutely hate the players. It’s not just the owner, they hate so many of their players. I’ve had times where there have been some players in the team I don’t like but I’ve never hated any of our players like that also, you look at that and it just brings me confidence we’re going to smash them because they’re toxic -

He had all his mates at Spurs and I imagine Kane and Son are two of the best pros in the league. If they couldn’t inspire him to want to be the best he could be, he’s not going to find it again at Everton -
A good system would be: 1) Ref makes wrong call 2) VAR Ref looks at video “Hello David, I’ve looked at this and there’s a clear shirt pull here with two attempts to pull him back and then he takes the man down, can you come look at the monitor, I’d call this a penalty 3) Ref says “ah ok, my view wasn’t great” 4) Ref looks at video in discussion with VAR ref, “what do you think?” Says VAR ref? “See what you mean, that’s a clear pen” 5)Ref gives pen If that’s mic’ed up then there’s transparency. If they did all this and made the wrong decision at least you know where they’re coming from

I vote for "Balls in your mouth - who's going down on you?"

This is the crux of it for me, why are we trying to make out that an incredibly subjective thing is infallible? Why are referees so precious that they can’t be told they’ve made a mistake? Would be far healthier if they just dropped this pretence, as a ref you should surely care most about making the right decisions, not about whether your pride is hurt by someone overruling you. Every week, it feels like the officials dig themselves a bigger and bigger hole. Why are they not being held to account more? VAR is clearly not going away, so if it’s here to stay they need to completely change how it works.

That’s probably up there in the top five worst decisions I’ve seen

Doesn’t sound like he believes the words coming out of his mouth -
Absolutely nowt

There a way to track this at all? I guess he touted them on the street but if you have the seat details and put out a message on Twitter asking for whoever was in those seats, who they bought them off then you could potentially track the cunt down if they touted them online. I imagine it’s a long shot and more energy than you’d want to expend but I’d be absolutely livid in your shoes
-
Actually breathtaking how they brought in VAR to reduce controversy and try to make the game fairer and the way it’s implemented does the opposite. They need to start giving us the audio of the VAR discussion so that these people can be held accountable

3-1 to us, Tory Frank to sanction all his players after the match and freeze their wages -
This Nick Candy that’s sniffing around their club sounds like an absolute desperate cunt. Hope they get him as he sounds as lightweight as it gets

Tear them to shreds, their confidence must be rock bottom and they’ll be panicking about the drop -
They really don’t help themselves. Make terrible decisions and then silence behind it when they’re every person watching knows they’re wrong. Embarrassing that this is what’s on offer with the amount of money in football
-
Burn, the colossus of Newcastle
-
John Terry sitting in Roman Abramovich’s box, hope he’s got his full kit on
-
This isn’t just a question for you, but when was the last game he played well? And by well, I mean he was one of our standout players and genuinely influenced the game. Cannot remember myself

Hope this lad has a decent game today, whether he stays with us beyond this season or not, he’s a good lad
