  1. These are predicated on Howe being here at the end of the season. I expect him to be, if he went then Newcastle would clearly be way lower than this Premier League Winners: Arsenal (hope not, you wet wipe cunt Arteta) Runners Up: Man City 3rd-6th: Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, Aston Villa Relegation: Ipswich, Everton, Southampton Overachievers: Newcastle Underperformers: Crystal Palace (17th) and Man U (8th) Top Goal Scorer: Haaland Break Out Year: Morgan Rogers Season to Forget: Mo Salah PFA Player of the Year: Odegaard PFA Young Player of the Year: Kobbie Mainoo Manager of the Year: Scumteta First manager to quit/be sacked: Glasner Championship Winners: West Brom Runners Up: Leeds Play-Offs: Burnley to win Relegation: Preston, Plymouth (hope not), Oxford Newcastle United Where will we finish?: 5th Top Goalscorer: Isak Top Assister: Barnes Season to forget: Sean Will Howe be manager at the end of the season?: Yes FA Cup: Man City League Cup: Newcastle Utd
  2. Can a door slam if it was never really open?
  3. In terms of PSR, if we sign no one else does it mean that we are in any stronger position with the three year rolling window in January? Or do we need to wait until 1st July next year to be back in the đź’´
  4. Probably his most candid press conference so far I’d say. Those lines about difficulties with transfers the other way (e.g. potential sales and outgoings of players we don’t want to sell) is a bit of a concern really
  5. Does feel like Linford Christie and Werner Herzog have a lot to answer for in this transfer window. I’d be putting them at the top of the culprits list along with the deceased Jeremy Beadle
  6. How much love you giving to Sandro these days?
  7. Think they’re so desperate to get rid they wouldn’t care
  8. Sticking with my 3-2 win prediction, Howay Eddie’s lads
  9. Sancho is a tough one. Obviously he’s easily talented enough to play for a CL side and we could probably offer him decent wages but what’s he on at Man U? Close to £300k is it? I think the bigger barrier from our side is potentially attitude
  10. In fairness, I find that more reassuring than some overly positive spin. There is a logic to what he’s saying given we’ve arrived at a ridiculous position. The issue is how we’ve arrived here
  11. “Eddie, you’re on the legs, Mad Dog, get him round the torso. Mitch, you’re on dunking duties”
  12. Maybe they were there all along, a bit like Reform voters etc
  13. Also, the new sporting director appointment was forced upon the club with Gardener Dan leaving so it wasn’t a calculated decision to bring in someone new to undermine Howe
  14. That’s clearly a whoosh post lads
  15. Aberration I’d say
  16. Aye, three games is enough to judge the side. I agree. Why don’t you stop running your mouth with every single post laced with piss-ridden negativity. Has the window been shit? Yeah. Does it mean that we just accept as fact a bunch of fantasyland bullshit that you and others have made up because you see the world through a broken lens? Nah
  17. Thanks Nick, for your relentlessly shite takes
  18. Unsuccessful, failed 8 out of 8 last season and 2 out of 2 so far this season
  19. I can understand why we didn’t have a large pool of targets in the £50m+ range at RW or RCB that were realistic (wanted to come, affordable with wages, selling club open to selling) but why have we not got a ton of targets that focus on 19 - 22 year olds in those positions who aren’t fully developed and maybe aren’t at the top level yet but are good prospects who’d benefit from Howe’s coaching and still improve us, certainly at least at RW?
  20. “I’m not the problem Steve” what a line
  21. Ordered a four-month supply of the pull-up ones to get me through to January. I refuse to wet the bed lads and lasses
