Yea, he said in a recent interview that this is his last season with Lille. Good that the club is willing to let him go too. Hopefully we can secure him despite other suitors.
-
Can we at least play some games with our new signings before we make a conclusion?
-
Lad had Singaporean ancestry and is playing at a good level. Wonder why he isn't playing for the Singapore national team.
-
Why would they want a player who is injured til at least March?
-
If I get paid big bucks to work 3 days a week, I would take that too.

A good DM in place of Shelvey will free up Bruno and Joelinton so much, it has to happen in the summer.
-
He is not a negative influence despite his mishandling of high pressure match moments. No point freezing him out as it may affect some of his teammates. Let him train with the squad, show him what he is missing out so he considers a move in the summer. At the same time, it shows a presence to the rest that if they do not perform, they will be next.
-
Intense 0-0 draw will do.
-
Glad that he's out of the team as he can no longer perform at this level. Him still having a contract is a remnant from the previous regime. Whether he wants to be a non-entity collecting his paycheck or is looking for another club, key is that he has played his last match for us.
-
Yeah, we should have a good idea of survival in March. Once we look good, get the technical director and CEO in, then we can plan for next season.
-
Imagine Aston Villa and Birmingham fans united in their feelings about Bruce in the Baggies forums.

Turkish window closes in 4 days so has to be fast if any club is interested. Not many leagues open at the moment. https://europeanleagues.com/transfer-windows/ Don't think he's happy just to sit around. Most probably ill-advised or made the wrong assumption that Howe will reverse his decision.
-
Howe likely thinks that Ritchie's competitive nature and versatility adds to the relegation fight, even though he has been poor for some time. There might be other reasons but Lewis locking himself to 6 games this season rather than going out on loan is not the right decision imo. Ritchie is not the future and we might move him on this summer but Lewis' lack of game time is not going to help him, when he could try to impress during a loan.
-
The 8 homegrown players rule. Has a point. While we have plenty at the moment, most are dross. Trippier and Burn, then maybe keep Lascelles, Longstaff, Willock, Woodman and Lewis for the near future. Then we can also get in some more in the summer.

More inclined to rely on .com for expiry dates. https://www.nufc.com/2021-22html/squad.html All should go within the next two years.

Kim is the most common family name in Korea. Then you get the Parks and the Lees.
-
Can't find an image of Fraser and Burn together but here's Podence (2cm taller than Fraser) and Burn.
-
Replaced Coutinho in the 73rd minute when Brazil was leading 2-0. Good passes to Antony and Raphinha. Slipped once. Came on as LCM but got himself further forward on a few occasions. It was on one of them that both him and Rodrygo broke free in the box with only the keeper to beat, square pass to Rodrygo to score.
-
Our lad Bruno coming on for Coutinho.
-
Imagine Bruno and Joelinton doing all the hard work running around, try to make things happen, only for Shelvey sitting behind them doing nothing and gesturing to them where to run.
-
Now he hits the post.
-
There's nothing suspect about Shelvey's fitness, stamina and work ethic; we can see how shocking he is. He basically sits in front of the defence and plays simple passes due to his limitation in the middle of the park and isn't particularly defensively sound either. There's the odd good performance every now and then, but he reverts to type soon enough. Extremely frustrating player. Semi-useful until end of season due to lack of options but we should replace him in the summer.
-
Targett being solid defensively gives ASM freedom to roam. With Burn being comfortable and progressive on the ball, it means we can move play up rather than sitting back as we do now. Bruno and Joelinton in the middle will give us more control than Shelvey. Trippier on the right provides width and crosses. When fit, GK: Dubravka RWB: Trippier LWB: Targett RCB: Schar CB: Lascelles LCB: Burn RCM: Bruno LCM: Joelinton RW: Fraser LW: ASM ST: Wilson If we play 4 at the back, then Willock as the advanced midfielder. Should benefit with Bruno in the side.

Pay Leeds what they want for Raphinha this summer.
