Awesome. In their prime they would have destroyed any defence in the world.

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/909155/la-liga-side-to-be-renamed-team-dubai-after-takeover?cc=4716 Real Zaragoza Team Dubai or something similar? Quite pointless really. People will still refer to them as Real Zaragoza although rival clubs will probably have a laugh about it.

Preference for pink made public.
-
Not really. Had enough of pink shirts.

Christ aye. I thought the ref should've ended the game before the 2nd penalty but it made for good viewing. You sure he wasn't talking about the Bolton-Stoke game?
-
Liverpool going for the same lineup against Man City. Arsenal as predicted except surprised to see Diaby on instead of Song.
-
Bit pointless talking about other possible connections when the challenge is clearly on the thigh, so why even talk about career-ending injuries? By the same logic, if the connected area was anywhere worse, he could have ended the guy's life.
-
The challenge was on the thigh. If he had gone for the knee / ankle or the shin, I give you that he has a higher chance of a serious injury. I seriously can't imagine that planting his boot into the thigh can cause him to dislocate his hip or break his leg. May I suggest a basic knowledge of anatomy before you imagine the ridiculous? What i am saying is if his foot had been in contact with the pitch the resistance could make that challenge dangerous that is all and are you saying that challenge is ok by Scholes cos the ref clearly didnt think so . Where have I defended Scholes' tackle? Scholes' challenge was awful and the red card totally deserved. He has a higher chance of breaking his own foot than Zabaleta's thigh though, even if the latter happened to have his foot planted onto the pitch. We are talking about the thigh bone protected by a massive chunk of muscle. If contact was on the shin like Ben Arfa's, with virtually no protection then something might have broke.

How many career-ending thigh injuries have you seen? His boot went into one big block of muscle and not the bone. It's not even the hamstring ffs.

The other Owen is free too.

Hope Bolton wins tonight. Stoke in Europe will be a travesty.

Walcott won't even be able to catch up with Sol's never-ending sliding tackle.

That looks pretty f***ing good to be honest, I think it will be stripes on the back with Gold lettering though. Just goes to show how different it could look when it's actually worn. yeah i think it will be gold or else the gold puma doesn't make any sense but it wouldn't let me use gold numbers and i couldn't be arsed to edit them but yeah i know its only Fifa but close up i think it looks pretty cool but when i play on the far out camera as if watchin a game on telly or from the stand in the stadium the all white sleeves looks nasty to me oh and plus, originally i did it stoke style like someone said earlier with all black on the back and that looked even worse, looked like we didnt even have black and white stripes! http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/4195/benarfagold.th.jpg

Haha is he related in any way to Balotelli? The look on Ronaldo's face as he pops it open - priceless!
-
f***ing hell, had forgotten about that. The Smith's pedicure one was pretty bad too. The photos make them look absolutely gay.
-
The Norwegian guy was slow to catch on then. English pundits were already talking about that 'interesting, never seen before' set piece against Braga.
-
So 1 point from last 8 games if current score stays? Oh well at least they've held Arsenal at the Emirates.
-
Surely Torres aka Shevchenko MkII has to break his goal drought. No better opposition to score against. If he can't score against Wigan, he might well retire now.
-
I was talking about the best English midfielder part, not past wounds / feuds as you are thinking.
-
Yeah. And I'll be wary of any articles from So Foot since they have a history of making up stories and quotes. This belated story just seems to be opening up previously done wounds and milking up every last drop of sensationalism.

Al Fayed getting senile. CC gonna be renamed Neverland next.
-
They'd have a job, when there's only 21 to play for He obviously meant picking up a season tally of 40 points, not 40 from the remaining matches.

How can you forget our Super Eagle better than Obafemi Martins, more loyal than Andy Carroll, sexier than Zorro, who plays through the pain barrier every time he's on the pitch?
