Wrong career move with City always going for the best that will come and GK being a specialized position. He would have been a good fit at Arsenal imo. Too bad City will never sell him to their title rivals. What's worse is that he clearly wants to play but he's doing a (ex)Harper at his age.
-
They play 3 workhorses in the middle with 3 mobile forwards, so he won't fit into Mancini's system. I don't think he will fancy a move back to City if all he wants is to 'enjoy playing' and earn a good salary as he is doing now.

Kaizero, This new avatar is more 'you'.

Some people need to learn the hard way. Will these be the same kits for next season, or are they going to spring a whole new ensemble on us? I know there's a two-year rule on new shirts, but teams seem to treat the "rule" more like a "gentle suggestion". There will be a new Puma kit. Spurs had theirs changed every year for the past 4 seasons.

Gonna be the inspiration behind next season's puma kit. http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/8894/300474.jpg + http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/4441/jerseypumaitalyhome6306.jpg = ?

Why don't you conduct the matches and training sessions behind closed doors or under selective admission, and make it more difficult for the scouts? Toral has an English mother so it could have made it easier to accept a move to England. Since you've mentioned them, how good are Samper and Balleste?
-
They probably did. Not all clubs have the pulling power of a Arsenal with their recognized youth setup and development, or a Man City or Chelsea with their financial clout though. It'll take some good convincing to a teenager and his family to move to a foreign country.

Header off a corner. Where's the marking lads?

Barca never seem to have any luck with foreign center-halves, with expensive flops like Milito, Henrique, Caceres, Chygrynskiy in recent years. Should have gone for David Luiz before Chelsea did. He's going to be the next Coloccini.
-
Indeed. Another angle confirms my suspicions. http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/8297/barcabd.jpg Barca's overload strategy in the final third clearly to blame.
-
How about Marca? My impression is that it's pro-Real, but quite reliable in terms of their reporting.
-
I take it that AS is anti-Barca then.

That's what I thought. Fwiw Elmander is not starting today. Probably reserving him for us.
-
Think that's been suggested every single transfer window. Apart from City and Chelsea, I can't see why they'd need to do anything more than any other club does. Nobody wants to be ripped off. Steve Bruce will disagree.
-
Isn't 5 yellows = 1 match suspension? james '5 yellows in a row' Perch remember?
-
Elmander is on 4 yellows so hopefully he'll pick one up today.
-
Decent enough for Arsenal?

Knew you'll come up with some dross. Cole and Evra are top, I give you that. Ask Arsenal fans and they'll tell you Clichy is weak defensively. I stopped reading when I saw Konchelsky and Shorey.
-
Alright then, name me 5 Premier League leftbacks better than him. Go on.

You sure you're in the right thread? Perch thread is on the other pages.
