  1. He wants out. He's crap anyway.
  2. In that case he'd be better off staying where he is. I think you understand what I mean That he's got the hots for wor Yohan and will discard all other options for that reason? It's more a grey area rather than negatively assuming he'll automatically choose Inter or Bayern if they come knocking. He knows that he'll have no problems settling in with us and that the right back spot is his for five years if he signs. And that counts for something. As a consequence I think he'll pick us if not Inter or Bayern's offer is significantly better such as "we see you as your new first choice rb and want to pay you accordingly." Deubuchy is soon 27, he wants to play and not warm the bench.

  4. You cynical bastards! Some players are just stupid greedy cunts, like Carroll and Enrique. Others prefer the social security of our French legion and a nailed 1st team spot to money. Stop generalizing
  5. I dont know. I think a club the size of Milan or Bayern would seriously turn his head. I'm not sure about that. I think we sometimes underestimate the signifcance we already having players who're in close relationship to our targets. Players are not only cynical bastards who only want money. They tapp each other up and some people's opinions carry more weigth than others. Pards specifically said that we wouldn't have gotten Cisse if it wasn't for Ba. If Deubuchy is as down to earth as his best friend I don't think wages or club standing will be the issue. I'm more worried that Lille is demanding more than what we're willing to pay.
  6. I'd love Deubuchy, but I'm not willing to break the bank for him. He'll soon be 27 so he'll have no resale value. Although he'll strengthen our team significantly. We need reinforcments in central defense too. Colo, Willy and Saylor are too slow. And ideally we need a better attacker who is capable of doing the job when dembax2 go on ACN. If we manage to pull this off, and keep all our best players I'd be a very, very happy man.
  7. "we will only sign the right player for the club- phrase refers not only to the quality of the player (on and off the pitch ), but also to the money involved. If the wage demand or transfer fee is too high, meaning the transaction could hurt the economic viability of the club, then he's by definiton not the right player. All these conditions must in other words be fulfilled: He'll only be the right player for the club if we get him for £4 mill because then he's value for money.
  8. I'm pretty sure Tiote will stay. Man U can't afford him. Chelsea have enough physical presence in the midfield. They need flair, creativity and speed. To utilize HBA most efficiently I think Pards will go for a 4-3-3 formation next season. Anita will play together with Tiote, he's not his replacement. What? Tiote is valued in the £20 mill bracket and we don't need to sell. SAF just said he won't pay £20 mill for Tiote. I don't think that's because he suddenly doesn't fancy expensive players (he's bought plenty of them previously), but because he's now under more financial restraint than before. Their debt is around £420 mill, and unlike us they have to pay interest. When that interest could be as high as 16%, money disappears quickly, despite inreased income. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2145794/Manchester-United-net-debt-rises-26m.html

A bit harsh comparing Enrique to HBA. Besides the obvious difference in talent and intelligence, HBA has been in the media for the wrong reasons in France, which you could not say about Enrique before his twitter-gate. It could be possible that HBA is a different person now compared to pre-NUFC. I think his injury really opened his eyes. It was a potential career ender, and to just write that off and say that he'll move if given the opportunity really ignores the complexity of human nature. Enrique never had the same adaption problems as HBA, neither has he had his calf cut in two. The way the club followed him up after the injury didn't hurt either. If he moves, he'll do it because the move will make him a better footballer. He'll not go to a 4th placed Chelsea because they give him stupid money.

He needs to work on his stability. On his best day he's unstoppable. If he manages to harness his potential he's capable to walk into the best teams. Very, very few players are capable of replicating his goals against Blackburn and Bolton.

If HBA keeps up his performances of late and we keep our current squad, makes a couple of reinforcements like Deubuchy and avoid long term injuries on key players I see us as a serious candidate for CL next year. For HBA I really don't think it's about money. He wants to play football on the highest level. Besides, in NUFC he's the biggest fish in the bowl. He's loved and adored. That counts a lot for him I think. If we qualify for CL I really don't believe he'll leave, unless Barca or Real comes knocking.
  13. What a joke of an article. Can't believe those idiots are getting paid to pollute the net with this garbage.

The lad has matured. So if he leaves it's probably because he's taken his game to another level. Besides I think Pards was the first manager to handle HBA correctly. It must have been very frustrating for HBA too, being branded the most gifted of them all, but not able to fulfill his potential. HBA said that Pards was the first manager who really gave him clear instructions on what to improve. So it's not all about "bad personality" but about a club with competence who understands early on what kind of prodigy they're dealing with. A club who is competent enough to take the appropriate steps to harness the potential, with people who can be caring, wise but also strict when needed. And I'm sure HBA had this advantage earlier. Messi for example would have not been where he's now witouth the careful guidance of Barcelona's fameous academy. They early saw his potential and acted immediately : Put him on growth hormons, taught him to become a team player (do we see Messi complain?), and they also got rid of Ronaldinhio and Deco because they were afraid they would be a bad influence. That a player benefits from such wisedom can have a paramount effect on his career. So it's not just about potential and bad personality, but being advised by the right kind of people. HBA's potential is infinite, he could be a star at the biggest club like Barca and Real, so if he leaves for them I totally understand him. But seeing him in a ManU-jersey would literally kill me.

    Graham Carr

The club is doing so many great things right now that it's almost pathetic. We're not used to this!!! Very wise move securing Carr beyond the contract of Pardiola. If Pardiola leaves, the new manager will benefit from Carr's wisdom.
  17. I don't see it. Douglas is exactly the sort of goal scoring 'man-mountain' Pards was talking about on the radio show Good point. Will be chuffed if Douglas signs. His physical presence and speed will make him a perfect fit to Colo and PL in general.
  18. Hopefully we'll sign Mbiwa..Master Pards is only using Douglas as a smokescreen...

    Papiss Cissé

It might come down to personality too.. Cisse seems more humble and wise, while Carroll was a 21 year old party boy who was completely blinded by his sudden success.
  20. ManU can't afford Dreamboat. Can't see them spending £20 mill+ when they've just signed that chap from Borossia..

    Danny Guthrie

That depends on what you define as very good.. For me Cabaye is a very good player, which makes Guthrie good. Guthrie runs a lot, has a solid distribution, but lacks the tenacity, intelligence and vision of Cabaye. But would deffo be a reinforcement for you guys.

= Come and get me plea. Mulumbu is probably a better finisher anyway. Sell him.
  23. Every time we've played West Brom he's made Tiote look average. I think they have only played against eachother once & Mulumbu got taken off after 76mins http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/16173188.stm Yeah, that's the game. Then when we played them again Pardew said we have to play down the flanks because they have Mulumbu. It's hard to compare two DMs when they're playing each other because they're busy at each half of the pitch. It's not much Tiote vs Mulumbu, but Cabaye vs Mulumbu. That we played down the flanks to avoid Mulumbu indicated that he's a good DM, but not that he's superior to Tiote.
  24. Nee wonder you're turning Dave into a borderline racist with shite like this. Figure of speech, look that up...
  25. If MA sells Simpson for £5 mill and buys Deubuchy for £6.5 I'll do a wank of honor just for him!
