  1. Yeah, he said Tavernier was almost as good. But that doesn't say much really. If you're just as good as Simpson you still have A LOT to improve I really hope we get Deubuchy. A Frenchie in his prime who's a very good friend of Yo. Would make it easier for us to keep Yo too. Deubuchy is very professional . So he probably takes better care of his body than Noland and Carroll. Unless he gets seriously injured we don't have to think about a replacement before he's well into his 30s.
  2. He's way too mediocre. His passing is just shocking sometimes: It's either support or hoof. RM suffers too because of Simpson's inability to make constructive choices. Williamson knows his limitations, but Simpson's acts like he's the king of right backs. He's deffo not worth more than he's offered. Should get credit for his line clearances though. Deubuchy would be a huge, huge improvement. Hopefully Tavernier will step up this season and make a good backup.
  3. The Villa approach has caused a total chaos within the club. Both side has handled this very badly, but in particular the club and the owner could have done much, much better. You do not leak your dealings with the manager to the press. According to below article Solskjær will accept the Villa position if he's offered it. And he''ll take both his assistants and Wolf Eikrem with him. One thing is for sure, the last word is not said in this saga. http://www.dagbladet.no/2012/05/20/sport/fotball/tippeligaen/ole_gunnar_solskjer/kjell_inge_rokke/21673067/ With google translate:
  4. Really? I'm massively swinging towards Chelsea now. He's at the stadium with the Sky Crew. Jesus! I guess being a proper cunt is one of the conditions for getting a job at Sky Sports. That picture makes me puke!
  5. Chelsea is not far too off either..We finished above them ffs The problem is that Chelsa will not get the best players if they fail to qualify. And abrahimovich is not the kind of person that phases out. He became rich by being brutal and corrupt. Abrahimovich wants players like Falcao. But Falcao is not interested in playing in a tournament he's just won, regardless of how much money Abrahimovich ipays him. There will be clubs out there that will give Falcao both CL and a solid pay. That's not really true like. Money talks. Only a handful of clubs can match Chelsea for wages. Toure, Tevez etc. signed for City without them ever being in the CL from 2 of the biggest clubs in the world. That's true. But is Abrahimivich willing to caugh 100s of millions once AGAIN. The man is rich, £10 billion, but he is essentially keeping the club afloat. Last year Chelsea had a deficit of £67 mill. The squad needs a total overhaul and they are in danger of missing out on the money motherload: CL. If he wants to compete with City (The Sheikh is worth twice as much) he must be willing to fork out a shitload of money, but still he's not guaranteed results because City has even more money. When he bought Chelsea he was the first to literally buy himself to success. This is not possible anymore. Hopefully Chelsea will implode if they don't win. And Harry will f*** up the qualification .. Yes, he has no other option and he's shown no signs that he'll stop investing. He's not going to quit now. Teams can only have 25 players so whilst they may miss out on targets (Pastore to PSG for example) he can still blow 90% of teams away to land the likes of Mata & Fernando Torres. He spent a shitload to get AVB in last year and he let him go in under a year, if money was a big factor he would've stuck with AVB for a couple years to give his investment a chance. He didn't. I don't understand your logic. He's been investing shitloads into that club for 8-9 years and has done so every season without fail. Why would he stop now? They lose, he buys big. Chelsea are a European giant now, Bayern were in the Europa a few years back but still had better "pull" than most clubs in Europe to sign players. They win, he still buys big but might actually show some patience for once to rebuild the squad, that is it. As long as he's alive, Chelsea will be in the running. Spurs on the other hand are reliant on CL revenue streams. They'll have to let 2 players go at a minimum and replace them with less reputable players. Your logic is flawed son. I'm afraid you're right, but I'm trying to convince myself otherwise. I hate Chelsea and Terry so much!!!!

  7. But imagine if Chelsea lose tonight and Harry fuck up the qualification. It could alter the CL-race significantly next season. Harry must sell either Bale or Modric and uses the money on Crouch version 1.0.0.0.0.0.0.1 . Btw. If Chelsea wins tonight, will they be automatically qualified next season as winners or must they qualify like Tham?
  8. Good point, but I will cheer for Bayern regardless!

  10. Wrong focus in my opinion. The question you should ask yourself is: What's best for NUFC? Chelsea's deficit is already huge and it will be even bigger if they miss out on CL. If they fail, Chelsea will not get the best players. They want CL, period. This could shift the power balance between Chelsea and us. . . But if Chelsea win CL, which is THE trophy Abrahimovich wants, he'll go absolutely bunkers next season which would increase the gap between us and them. If we however trust old, mental Harry, he'll probably do something stupid anyway, despite Tham getting the CL-spot. And a very important point is that Tham must qualify (is Chelsea automatically qualified as winners??) So if everything pans out alright, Chelsea lose tonight and Tham fails to qualify. Consequently we'll close in on TWO teams instead of one.
  11. Fucking despise Terry. That racist, psycho cunt! Nothing would delight me more than seeing him cry!. Besides Chelsea and Man C are ruining PL with their inflated budgets. The question is what happens with Chelsea if they don't qualify for CL next season? They have an old squad and I don't think insane wages will be enough to attract the players they need to challenge for a CL spot. With the fair play rules impending they could be in serious trouble. Harry on the other side could self destruct espite Tham getting the CL. He was already under fire this season.
  12. Prefer Douglas tbh. Vertonghen is similar to Colo: An offensive defender who's solid with the ball. What we really need is a defender that compensates for Colo's weakness and imo Douglas is more suitable in that respect. He's quick, good in the air and superior in 1 vs 1 situations. And due to his contract situation he'll be much cheaper than Vertonghen.
  13. Ba's declining form came both from change of formation, but also from fatigue. The man was everywhere in the first half of the season. That cost him. I'm sure Best could have done the job against the weaker teams. It would have given Ba some well needed time off before our tough run in. Sadly Best's injury precluded that. It's about grinding out the result when needed so the team can be fresh when up against stronger opponents. And I've never said that we should rest many players, one or maybe two and only those who obviously needed a break. And Ba was one of them.
  14. Really ? I have to say that is the worst attempt to explain the unexplainable Ive ever heard. I didn't try to explain anything, I just paraphrased what I read. Btw, according to local media, OGS is not at the training ground. The session startet 10.30 local time and the Villa-aircraft is heading towards UK as we speak.
  15. He's the second coming of Jesus Christ according to Punk. Heresy! He wears the no. 10 jersey and scores solo goals for fun And I'm not that fond of Molde FK even though it's my local club. Hypothetically, If I had the choice between NUFC qualifying for CL and MFK being relegated I'd send MFK down in a heartbeat. I've never cared that much about MFK and my feelings declined even more as soon as OGS took over. The national media is so far up his ass it's embarrassing. With a few honorable exceptions, they of course attribute MFK's success to OGS. What the media forgot to mention is that at the time OGS took over, two of the nearest rivals were significantly weakened. One team lost some class players on free transfer and another had to cut to the bone due to economical difficulties. So the cause and effect between MFK's success and OGS are not as straight forward as people think. Also I know that if MFK develops a player that might be capable of making it in the PL, ManU will have first priority. But what I like with OGS is his attitudes he demands of his players. Football is supposed to be a sport for men, but some of the players use more time complaining on the referee and using every trick in the book than anything else. And that pisses me off. Regardless of what you say, I've never thought of OGS as a dirty cunt and I watched him play before ManU bought him. If OGS is a dirty cunt, what's your description of Keane, Scholes, Vidic and De Jong?
  16. Btw..I read that the reason why the villa fans cheered when we were relegated was that before the match, Martin Laursen held his farewell speech (he had to retire due to injury) but it wasn't possible for the home crowd to hear what he said because you lads booed....
  17. He's a detestable little turd of a man and so are you for rimming his anus. Of course......That makes sense.... But I think this will be a great appointment by Villa.. OGS is a clone of SAF in how he sets up his team. He focuses on pass and move, and player rotation. It's the beginning of the season and already now he rotates players. That will come in handy when the match program gets tougher. He's demanding good attitudes from the young ones, but he's not afraid to play them either. Players that were turbo shit under the previous manager have taken big steps. One of the reasons for that is his pass and movement policy which he's adapted from SAF : Because there is much movement, passing alternatives are always available, making dribbles unnecessary. That's why mediocre players like Fletcher performs well under SAF: If in trouble he always has constructive alternatives available.
  18. Aren't you a tad subjective now? OGS is not a man who deliberately elbowed others. Neither is he a diving cunt.
  19. I remember the Lee affair vividly myself, but that doesn't make him a despicable cunt..Vidic, Scholes and Keane fall into that category, not OGS. He made a professional foul. He didn't deliberately try to hurt someone like De Jong, neither is he polluting the environment with every word that comes out of his mouth like Barton.
  20. And you base that on what? He is manager for my favorite team in Norway. He's not a cunt. He's in fact very sympathetic and solid, well respected professional. Like Pards, he's capable of caring, but he's not afraid to put his foot down if needed. He doesn't tolerate smugness or disrespectful behavior from players, such as diving inside the penalty area or shouting at the referees. Not long ago, a player dived. Immediately after the match the player had to apologize to the media for his behavior. He's a young SAF, but without the extreme subjective remarks and desire to manipulate the media to his own benefit.

  22. The problem is the idiots using statistics and who're not capable of putting the numbers into context. Eg. if Tiote is missing that hugely affect our defensive strength because every opponent panics when he's nearby. And that our attack now finally flows, with Cisse and HBA in exellent form, also takes pressure of the defense. It's about isolating cause (Williamson) effect (60% win). Ideally we should play with the same team against the same opponent for x games, then remove Willamson and play again against the same opponent. And in both rounds both team must field the same XI, except Williamson. But as you probably understand, this is an impossible task . And still you have random factors that always influence football like referees, beautiful goals (cisse agains Villa) that's impossible to repeat etc.
  23. Nice to see you again punk, been a while.hope you've enjoyed the season so far. Nice words from ole there, best of luck to him Thanks man! The season has been just massive. Although I haven't posted in a long time as you probably have seen, I read the forum.. Quite massive change in mood tbh. 8 months ago you were some negative fucks tbh I was one of the few with a positive mindset, if I remember correctly. That combined with heavy work and school schedule resulted in me becoming more of a reader instead of an annoying poster And hi Michael
