  1. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1206824-newcastle-united-breaking-down-the-danny-simpson-contract-dispute? Maybe someone could tweet Simpson this article... If MA manages to sell this fullback magician for £4-5 mill he's a fucking genius.

Exactly, that instinct and those insane finishing skills don't disappears with age. Feed him curried goat and crossers and he'll score 4ever

At least.. He's no binge drinking British footballer either and that must surely help. I'm actually glad he's 27 cause it makes it easier for us keeping him. Had he been 3-5 years younger every top club in Europe would've been interested.
  4. They conceded only 29 goals so I don't see the defense as their problem. Lescott is a cunt, but he's good enough. From the games I've seen their problem lies in the midfield. If Silva has a bad game, City struggles.
  5. And they don't need him. What they need is a better midfielder than Barry, and a better RM than Milner
  6. Why are we even discussing this? Shit article, again. Defensive organization is the least of City's worries..

The media will do their best to make sure it isn't for long, I'm sure if he keeps it up. If he keeps it up and we make a couple of reinforcement we'll be CL-material
  8. True, but there is a high level of confidence now with our scouting and recruitment policy so hopefully the successes will continue to easily outweigh the failures. That's correct. Our scouting system has reduced the probability of failures. But still it will not be easy to replace Tiote. Our extraordinary success in transfer marked will also make it more difficult for us buying players who're value for money. Other clubs will pay attention to us and agents will have incentives to leak our potential interest. Our interest could in other words drive the price automatically up.
  9. The point is that with Tiote you get value for money, while his replacement could in worst case scenario be another Smith for 5 years. You know what you have, but not what you get.
  10. For those who's forgetful about check Chieck Tiote vs Manchester United Highlights [Why he is worth 25m] on youtube . From 2:20 and out you could especially see his "shit" distribution. The video also show how good he's at pushing ManU towards their own half. That of course enables us to push higher on the pith. which protects us from being sieged around our own box. That is vital when playing against top teams This is what Tiote brings to the game by only being on the pitch, the opponent is terrified of him. Although I agree that his distribution could be better and that he holds on to the ball too long sometimes, but to say that his passing isn't good is wide of the mark. He has room for improvement yes, and I think he'll get better for each year. And I disagree strongly with those who thinks Tiote is only worth £20 and can easily be replaced by Mulumbu,
  11. Are you serious? If you compare Tiote's passing against other DM in the league, I think you'll find that he's excellent in that area. Of course he could do like Smith and only make short and support passes, but he's does much more than that. I agree that he's been rusty in a couple of games and that he makes some unnecessary mistakes sometimes, but when Tiote plays he changes the dynamic of the game just by his pure presence. Last season was disrupted by injuries and ACN. Think he'll take it to a new level next season and I'll be gutted if we sell him for only £20 mill.

Catts would have buried that ....
  13. Hopefully Abeid will fill Tiote's boots when he's away or suspended. What we need is a good young backup for Ba and Cisse, and buy Deubchy - Mbiwa....If we have resources left, then we can go after Diame or that swiss dude, or maybe both...
  14. Ba should look at the 'success' that others have had since leaving for so called 'bigger clubs' over the past few years. There's a big difference: Nolan and Barton are ok, but limited players while Ba is a fucking beast with excellent allround play who will score goals in his new club too. I don't think he was referring to Nolan and Barton considering the "so called bigger clubs" comment. Carroll and Enrique would be my guess. Ah.. the bigger clubs comment....Didn't see that... Argument still stands though, Enrique is a stupid cunt who can't create something in attack if his life depended on it..
  15. Because we're all paranoid. That makes sense...
  16. I don't know why we're even discussing this. It's a bollocks article: few lines with no quotes what so ever. Let us instead focus on players we want in.
  17. Absolutely bollocks. We'll never sell him. Santon could be much better than Enrique..
  18. Deubuchy is 1st priority, but Clyne is the best RB in Championship and if we get him for a couple of mill that surely must be a bargain. I think Pards will match him carefully, like he did with Santon. I honestly don't see Clyne playing worse than Simpson or Raylor. Besides the central line is more vulnerable than the flanks. If he's quick and works well he'll be able compensate for errors. Had Clyne been a central defender I'd be more sceptical throwing him in at the deep end.
  19. Ba should look at the 'success' that others have had since leaving for so called 'bigger clubs' over the past few years. There's a big difference: Nolan and Barton are ok, but limited players while Ba is a fucking beast with excellent allround play who will score goals in his new club too.
  20. I'd still respect him. First of all, we would not have been in Europe if it wasn't for him. His partners in crime (Shola and Best) aren't what we'd call quality. He almost singlehandedly was our attacking outlet in the first half of the season. Unlike Cisse he didn't benefit from a HBA in form, Tiote had injury problems so Cabaye had to take more responsibility in defense while Guthrie had the license to roam forward. I like Guthrie but he doesn't have Cabaye's vision. Finally we had had Obertan on right flank, no other comment needed. Still Ba managed to score 16 goals. Second, Ba's medical history makes this an exception to the rule: His knee could implode anytime, forcing him to retire. He wants to secure the future for himself and his family. He doesn't have a safety net unlike us lucky Norwegians. If a deal with T'ham makes this possible, I understand his choice. Would have done exactly the same myself.
  21. For 7 mill??? He was one of the best strikers in PL before AC, and he'll be one of the best when the next season begins . Cannot believe that some are so relaxed about his departure. He'll be hard to replace.
  22. You're forgiven Would love it if both signed btw.
  23. You have to include sign on fees. Probably £2 mill for each and maybe even more for Barnetta .. Geremi got £1 mill when he signed 5 years ago
