  1. Rumours in the German press that Tuchel is in discussions with RB Leipzig Never though it likely that he would come here but couldn't he have chosen a decent club
  2. didnt bother watching this game. said after Stoke that I would bother watching another second of us this season, bar the derby maybe.
  3. It's becoming like the polar opposite to what the German game has from what I can tell... I too am likely to remove Sky TV. So it's not all bad news then So are you in the favour of how the club has been fucked over by Mike Ashley then? No matter what you think of German football, its indisputable that the laws that they have in place protect football clubs from scum like Ashley and co.
  4. to think that we paid £3.5 million for this useless cunt
  5. Purely Ebola related. They were worried that a potential Ebola outbreak would bring their tourism industry to a standstill.

    José Mourinho

the guy's an antagonistic, arrogant, prick and I really dont get how anyone could possibly like him
  7. Feeling very vindictive towards Pardew tonight so googled "Crystal Palace forum" and the first thing I found was this http://www.cpfc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=257660 Thread title "The ever frustrating "floated" ball into the box......"
  8. Labaddia would be a disaster. Has been sacked at at least 3 clubs in Germany. He'll really stuggle to get another club in the Bundesliga after his f*** ups at Stuttgart and Hamburg. What f*** ups out of interest? That article above claims he took over Stuttgart when they were near to relegation and lead them up the league and into Europe. Not that I put much weight in the Daily Star like But wondering what the real story is? From what I've heard he is a very good motivator but is quite lacking in the coaching department. He has always had initial success with teams but then things have unraveled very quickly and he's never been able to arrest the slide, let alone turn things around. From what I recall it was like that at Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Hamburg. He also regularly fell out with his superiors (Bobic at Stuttgart) and ended up being very unpopular with a lot of the players.

  10. another two guaranteed defeats then. great
  11. Is Niang good? His stats aren't very promising...11 goals in 87 career apps
  12. This. glad he's out of here for a few weeks. didnt do anything right today.
  13. Virtually all of the away end were singing this towards the end. One thing I don't agree with is booing our players directly. Pretty shameful scenes at the end in my opinion. Why? They deserved to be booed today. Half of them were kids and they'd been thrown in at the deep end in my opinion. I don't agree with turning on that team that was out there today. fair enough, the likes of Armstrong, Satka, Alnwick, Roberts dont deserve to be booed but most of the players out there were senior pros, many of them full internationals. I think fans are right to vent their frustration after such a shocking performance.

  15. Just got back from this shambles and I am not exaggerating when I say that the second half especially was as pathetic and inept a display as i have ever seen from us. The whole team was just dreadful. I am really struggling to find any plus points from today. The one thing I did find pleasing though was that the fans let the players (and Carver) know exactly what the thought of the performance. The vitriol at the end was unlike anything I've seen from us in a while. Quite refreshing really. Carver came over at the end and ended up giving the fans a dismissive hand-gesture. If this joker gets the job we are in massive trouble.
  16. You can't win. It's impossible to have a remotely sensible discussion with a bloke who considers a 4-1 loss as 'a good performance'. Fans are too loyal. They worship anything. They believe anything they're fed and they'll not hear a bad word said about their club. I'd even go as far as saying they're as big a problem as Pardew is. Sometimes I read this sort of stuff and think, yeah just a wum or a Mackem taking the piss. But no, there are thousands and thousands of genuine Newcastle fans out there who have these kind of opinions. You're right though, the problem that these people pose is as great as Ashley/Pardew.
  17. Some of the comments on the official nufc facebook page are making me question the point of my emotional attachment to this football club.
  18. Early days, they still finished 5th last season. However I think they were expecting to compete for the top 4 this season weren't they... its the Europa League tbf, players was tired
  19. Anita needs to leave for the sake of his career. If we cant even get in the team whilst Abeid, Tiote and De Jong are injured then he might as well just give up.
  20. Wouldn't it just be like a foreign manager coming to the UK? but most of them speak English already, even if its fairly basic. I don't know for sure, but i really doubt Moyes speaks any Spanish (or Basque!) whatsoever.
  21. how is this going to work? does he speak Spanish? or will he have a translator with him all the time?
  22. I remember a Pardew interview on Talksport from years ago when he was West Ham manager. He was moaning about several of his players having being overlooked for the England squad and then claimed that half his team including Hayden Mullins, Marlon Harewood and Paul Konchesky should be playing for England

    Shola Ameobi

So does that mean he's putting out badminton nets? good point, are we sure he has signed for the club's football section?
