I don't go on Twitter, have people just been relentlessly harassing him about the statement? I get that people are desperate for good news, but do people really think they're going to get anything extra/some sort of exclusive by hounding him? Or if people are calling it bullshit, at least give it till the end of the week. Like the whole Midhat Whatsapp carry on, I just don't get it. I’m with you mate. It’s utterly embarrassing, especially the Midhat stuff. Potentially very counter productive as well.

Some so-called Newcastle fan just been on Talk Sport backing Ashley’s tenure (‘we could have done a Leeds’) and slagging off Rafa for poor transfers. Simon Jordan following up with the ‘Mike’s had to put a load of his own money in’ line. I know I shouldn’t listen to that station but that call particularly made my blood boil.

We just aren’t going to get any good news this Summer are we No one is talking to him man Annoyingly mate it looks like they are. It’s hard to sort out the real messages from the Odin- type ones though. Why this Midhat guy ever replies to anyone though is beyond me. Really? but why would he be telling people shit, it's weird Mate I have no idea. It’s a bit weird and shows a lack of judgement if you ask me. People have been phoning him at midnight Dubai time ffs. He must have known what he’d be in for when he started replying. Utterly embarrassing that anyone has text or phoned him mind. Completely out of line. I’m not assuming it’ll be negative. Scared it’ll be negative yes, but not assuming. My guess is it’ll be things are progressing, PL tests have been passed. Maybe something about Rafa going not being their fault.
