Jesus. Just seen the so called highlights. Scraping the barrel there. Pretty much all of them bar the red card and the Elanga chance wouldn’t normally make the cut for an average game.

West Ham are fucking garbage. Potter won’t last long.
-
Not seen/heard anything. Stats seem to suggest we should be ahead. Was a bit of a theme in away games last season. Not take our chances and it costing us.

He has been throwing his chewing gum at players/officials and fuck all has happened over the years?! Sounds like a horrible cunt. Is it a pack of chewing gum or a bit out of his gob……. 🤮

No thread is safe from the Matt Targett bullshit wages chat It’s been done to death on here and people still bring it up all the while. Capology seems a terrible source. The way they confirm their sources and the salaries means they can almost make it up if they want.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)
Lush Vlad replied to Miggys First Goal's topic in Football
He looks quality. His link up play and little flicks to lay it off are tidy as fuck. They don’t need Isak. They can fuck off and Isak can go to PSG. -
The roller racist has had a mare. Banned for 5-10 years, life maybe?

Try Talksport. Couldn’t believe how brazen the bloke was with just clearly cheerleading for Liverpool
-
Jesus. I had to suffer Talksport for the last 10 minutes. Who the fuck is the commentator on there?! Never heard him before. Was like a posh Alan Partridge at times. It also sounded like LFCTV. Sounded like he was going to climax after the late goals metaphorically sucking them off all the while.

We’ll see how we fare tomorrow before I get too quietly confident. But our flanks are where we are strongest. Liverpool look wide open down both sides and in behind.

Brooks has been very good. Tidy on the ball and killing them with that run every time.

I see Slot has fully settled into his Klopp/cunt role after a season bedding in. Thought he usually seemed sound and fairly measured last season. Bar the Everton game, which I can kind of understand under the circumstances. More animated and whiney in these 20 minutes than most of last season

If we get another midfielder in that can offer something a bit different, I don’t see why people are so against this. El Khannouss would have been perfect. But I think that ship has sailed with his rumoured release clause expiring and the Ramsey deal. He needs to be playing regularly, he won’t get that here. I also think he is a bit positionless in our system. Gets a bit lost in the wide areas and I actually prefer him deeper. But he has Tonali and Bruno to contend with there and needs a lot of trust from Howe to play there, I would say. Finally, tin hat on. Right now, I don’t think he is as good as most on here make out and whilst he has loads of potential and I like watching him. He needs game time to develop. With everyone fit, he is 5th or 6th choice here and 2 of our 3 starters in CM have exemplary fitness records. We even go with the 3-4-2-1/3-5-2 at times and play with one less CM. Non-starter unless we get another CM, anyway.

Is his agent on record saying this stuff then? Must have missed that bit….. So the journos reporting on the club’s stance, the supposed figure etc have plucked that from thin air and made it up? Not perhaps someone from within the club briefing them, with all of the journos following suit with the same or a very similar story? It’s not that dissimilar to what LFC and Isak’s camp appear to be doing. It’s just that we’ve not been leaking bits to client journalists on an almost daily basis. As we don’t need to.

Any striker that would be ready to start a run of games and offer something different off the bench. Even for a modest fee and for a player with an average record. Would be the much better option than another ‘Osula type’. Howe seems to take his time with the younger players, there has to be that trust there with him, I think. If Wissa were sign and then ends up missing a number of games. We’d really struggle and/or be back to playing Gordon up front.
-
Well that would be an absolute disaster. I kind of agree that we would maybe get a lesser name in than the ones we have been targeting. To share the load across all comps. But a youth or developmental type that isn’t ready for the first team would be a terrible decision. It would just mean more Gordon up top when Wissa isn’t available.
-
I also think it is a bit reductive sort of suggesting he is just more ‘running power’. I’m not saying he is a number 10 or a really creative type. But he has far more craft and guile than the likes of Willock, Joelinton and Longstaff.
-
I think it will be Schar and Burn starting. Which is kind of fair enough, really. Along with Trippier at RB. So I think Watkins will be causing us bother yet again. They usually have some really creative ways of getting a man free to play on the turn into space or then find that pass you mention. But Martinez being suspended does help here. As he is the one often picking the first pass into the midfield.

1. Sounds like nobody has a good relationship with that cunt of an agent. I think it will be more down to Howe and if he wants him back in the team. Not a chance Isak just sits out for the year or half arses it if he wants a decent move next season. The whole Mitchell thing is quotes being smart after the event from journos, as per usual. Of course they all knew this was going on. But only just reported on it the last few weeks or so. Who could have briefed them on that, I wonder?..... 2. Pretty telling that there are no direct quotes from the agent, Isak or anyone in his camp. No transfer request, the supposed injury. Even though bridges may be burned. There are so many similarities with other high profile cases and it feels like a deliberate ploy to not entirely destroy all avenues back into the squad. Plausible deniability.
-
Or it could be they’ve moved on to other targets across other areas. Maybe they have actually been told to stop leaking stuff by our end if they want to sort a deal. As was reported by a few Twitter accounts, I believe. Or it could be that there are just no updates whatsoever as it’s gone quiet after the latest attempt at a power play. All of that would be far more believable than this being a done deal and that none of the absolute gobshite journos have reported on it. Along with us not being linked with any other strikers, I don’t see how that makes any sense at all.

We probably won't see it very often. As we have good options for the left wing/forward position. But I feel like Ramsey in the Willock role and playing with Joelinton in that dovetail setup that worked so well. Would be pretty horrible to defend against. I think with Joelinton's disciplinary record, the way he is 100MPH all the while and seemingly always playing through injuries. Ramsey will get plenty of chances to shine from the start and good chunks of game time off the bench.
