Probably just the close up/pitch level angle of the camera. But that video a few pages back. He likes a lot of little touches off either foot and driving with the ball. But what I loved the most is how he always had his head up and was looking for a pass or an option all the while. Scanning I believe the statto nerds on social media call it. I know it should be a bit of a prerequisite for a footballer at the highest level. But we have had our fair share of head down or headless chicken types over the years and you still see it so often.

Believe it or not. Not every Liverpool fan is like that potato headed shouty Irish fella and a lot of the foreign fans that frequent social media. Most of the ones I know have been against his carry on, can see the way it will play out in the future with him and a few are even against the signing because of his actions.

Not for me. He doesn’t have any presence up there, I don’t think the runs he makes hurt the opposition like they do from wide left and he isn’t a good finisher or striker of the ball. It won’t happen. But I think he is that bad as a centre forward. I think I’d rather play Osula there.

I feel like analytics would have highlighted that this has a higher percentage chance of scoring or something. But things change over time. Now keepers are probably just going to stay central for longer and players who don’t have the ability or nerve to execute it properly. Are fucking it up left, right and centre

Kind of agree and the Isak situation has left a whole cloud over the window and a real bad taste (insert other cliched analogies here). However. Our squad depth has been rancid for a good while. A paper thin squad, players being run into the ground and only really what, 14-15 first team level players? Our starting XI can bang with the best of them and match up well against most. But the lack of depth and rotation. Along with genuine options for something a bit different, has been causing us big issues. Still need Ramsey and say Wissa/a striker in before I would say I’m ok or even pleased with how it has gone. But it has slowly been getting better. Albeit from a low bar. FWIW. I also think Thiaw will be playing more than we think and will be replacing Schar soon enough. Not saying I would be doing it. But I also have a feeling Ramsdale might be the number one soon and all.

He’s a big lad is ol Malick, aint he? Towering over most of his new teammates. Apart from BDB, of course.

I’d rather play him up front than Gordon. But that is hardly a ringing endorsement. As I think Gordon is absolutely atrocious up there and a complete waste of time.

When did Connor Gallagher become the most popular and sought after midfielder in world football on this forum? Every thread some fucker is mentioning him

I think he will be a good buy. Seems a Howe player for sure. Seen him interviewed a few times and came across as a good egg. Brummies often seem friendly, salt of the earth types in my experience. Injuries a concern, for sure. But he brings a bit of versatility and will be playing in a system that I think will really suit. Like many others. I was keen on El Khannouss and would still like us to sign him. As he offers something different. But I’m still happy with this signing if it goes through.

As others keep pointing out. The same Ornstein that said on the final day. That Isak was staying, as we qualified for the CL? No other journos thought to run with this info at the end of the season? Him and his agent didn’t think to alert other clubs as well as Liverpool that he wants to leave? What a crock of shit. Isak trying to save face via the journos on his payroll.

Fucker. Beat me to it

Look. Whatever you asked for mate. That's what it is.

I don't think he is at all. He's treating us like cunts, but he's not making us look like twats. We've kept our counsel and don't appear to be briefing client journalists every day. I think most football fans and the media are calling out his shitty, disrespectful behaviour. Even ex-pros who don't like us, like Agbonlahor.
-
Can we afford to set the precedent of act like an utter cunt, brief your mates in the media and use underhand tactics to reduce your value. And we will sell you for less than your worth, no bother. I have no interest in the PSR shite, but as I understand it. In theory we could take slightly less next season and be better off from an amortisation standpoint. Also, there is no way he will refuse to play for an entire season. That would be career suicide. Playing poorly on purpose would be just as bad from his POV. He doesn't hold the cards here, we do. Even if he hands a transfer request in, our stance shouldn't change. £150m and he can go. If not, fuck off.

I see Ramsey as someone that could rotate with Joelinton. Whereas El Khannouss is something totally different from what we have. I doubt we go after both. But I would love both and I think we need 2 CM's, personally. Willock is never fit and whilst I think he has potential. I'm yet to see what some see in Miley. I don't think he suits any of our midfield 3 positions particularly well, either.
-
Never liked Mings, I think he is a bit of a snide cunt. But I'd applaud him pre-game if I was there, for ragdolling that detestable little woman beater about against Marseille. He didn't go far enough, really.

Ramsey to West Ham. Player only wanted West Ham. HERE WE GO.

You are obsessed with making completely unrealistic lists that would never work due to our wage structure/wages to turnover % Sorry, not having a go But every thread I seem to see some FM type list of a load of players for fees way lower than what they would go for and/or well out of our wage range.
