Why is he on there? Who at TNT Sports decided it was a good idea? I’ve not spoken to anyone who likes him. He adds fuck all. He’s just blurting out nonsense and shouting random buzz words. Fletch and McCoist can be annoying. But they’ve become kind iconic with the CL. The same way Tyldsley was back in the ITV days. They’re synonymous with CL games and highlights. Just let them shout and get excited. We don’t need Rio waffling on and ruining it every other minute.

Fucking hell. Fetch that out the onion bag Martinez, you bellend.

Villa are going to do the CL and FA Cup double.
-
Good to hear PSG fans singing the Jacob Murphy chant.
-
Yeah. Feels very NFL. Where they like to pick seemingly random numbers or time frames. So another record can be broken
-
Well that looks wrong. I think he has 7 goals and 9 assists in the prem alone?
-
What’s he on in all comps now? 8 goals and 8-10 assists? Insane numbers from him. Fair fucking play.
-
I suppose they had the odd moment. But it felt like we played down to their level and/or didn’t get out of 2nd gear. We’ve played a lot better than that and lost this season. What a boring, scare free, predictable and routine 3-0 win. More of the same please!
-
Just noticed that. Injured again? Couple of good cameos, contributing positively and now he’s missing from the squad again.

Forest are in the FA Cup still. That could still impact on their season. Even if it is just another game or two at most.
-
Only caught the last half hour. Thank fuck for that. It was atrocious viewing. I know he’s young, he joined mid-season and he’s playing in a crap side. But Dorgu always looks dreadful when I watch him. Technique and composure are non-existent a lot of the time. MOTM next Sunday then

They’re nowhere near Klopp’s best teams that kept pushing City close every year.
-
You can’t really blame them. RVN has shown himself to be clueless and I think it is something like 7 league games at home without a goal. They can score tomorrow night if they want. So long as we win!
-
If we win tomorrow. I’m actually pretty sweet on our chances of CL. Some tough games left, for sure. But plenty around us are stuttering a bit, we play the likes of Brighton and Villa who based on recent performances. We shouldn’t be maybe quite so scared about as a few weeks ago. Also Chelsea at SJP and they are nowhere near as good on the road. Despite results, they’re hardly playing well at home, either. Going to get incredibly tight, mind. Now looks like Forest are going to get dragged back into it. So them, City, Villa, Chelsea, NUFC and maybe one other from 8th-10th all vying for 3 positions.

6th choice or not. We play 3 CM’s. So 1-2 injuries or suspensions and he’d be starting games if we’re in Europe and stay in cups. He’s shown he’s not really the sort to just play here and there or come on and impact a game. Plus he is also only really suited to a certain style and against certain opposition. It sounds incredibly harsh to type it out. But we’ve moved past players like Longstaff IMO. At least we should have, if we want to progress to that next level. I hate all the PSR stuff and don’t fully understand it. But it’s also the last window to get any money for him, he gets us pure profit and he turns 28 in October. Not sure why anyone would want him to stay other than sentimentality and because he’s a local lad. Unlike Burn, who has gone from strength to strength. It feels a bit like Longstaff has regressed/we’ve progressed and he’s stayed the same.

Villa might need to be a bit tighter at the back against PSG

That prick blames everything on everyone else

He’s pretty bad at pens full stop. But I wouldn’t hold this one against him. Really hard against takers like that when they watch the keeper. He did manage to save one from Toney who had a similar technique, mind. Had naff all to do until his brain dead moment. But I thought he was great after that. He was still really positive and aggressive off his line and on set pieces. Important stop late on and all. Even if it was a tame effort. It would have been easy to go the other way after his howler for the pen. He was saying once when he was on loan he made a clanger coming for a cross that led to a goal. York, maybe? Thought he’d get a bollocking. But the manager at the time just said ‘I want to see you keep doing that and you’ll be there for the next one’ or something like that. I’d still like to see him being so active off his line. But maybe not diving at the feet of strikers who are going away from goal

I’d like to see more of Osula. He has something about him and Wilson can barely move. But against Brentford in the cup. He literally gave the ball away in a terrible area and when under little pressure. Leading to a goal from them. We had plenty of men up the pitch as we had comfortable possession and then got caught out. I’d imagine things like that do Howe’s head in. He also sees him in training every day and Osula still looks incredibly raw and chaotic in his play, to me. Which is why I want to see more of him. Love that kind of player, personally

Barnes isn’t a ‘kick and rush’ player. Not in the slightest. Totally different type of player to Murphy, either way.

Wasn’t working very hard the other night every time Tino beat him in a one on one. Looked lazy and uninterested I thought.
