  1. This will be another season where we don’t finish above Man U. Be lucky to get 7th now. Dubravka’s still fucking useless and can’t dive to his right, I see. Bottled it when it’s mattered tonight. Had the better chances. Yet shat the bed.
  2. Abject this. Feels like we’ve massively bottled it and shat ourselves in and around their box. 15 minutes to save the season.
  3. Fucking Trippier. That’s his fault and all. Fell asleep before he gave the corner away. Fucking useless at defending. May as well sub him off.
  4. Rat Bruno is getting more time and space than Enciciso did on Saturday. Taking the absolute piss. Not sure how we stop it. As the CB’s aren’t mobile enough to follow him man to man and wouldn’t always be able to anyway. Plus we don’t play with a DM or even have one at the club.
  5. Isak nowhere near fit. Lively first 10 minutes. Then barely noticed he’s playing. Not really gambled on the odd dangerous ball into the box and is waiting 10-12 yards out all the while. Not that the service to him has been good. Like most of the season, our final ball has been disgustingly shit. 3-4 times had time and space and loads of passes on. Only to give it straight back to a red shirt.
  6. That’s a pen all day. Kicks him in the back of the leg before the Casemiro tackle comes in.
  7. Fucking embarrassing from Trippier that. Why is he 4-5 yards deeper than everyone else? Good first 10. But like Brighton. We’ve been shit since.
  8. What the fuck happened to football? The likes of Chelsea dropping £120m on unproven midfielders. Totally ruining an already obscene market. Nowadays fans have to be part-time accountants and start talking about amortisation and what price we should be selling at and when and working out the book price for FFP….. and whatever the fuck else. How much would you have to spend to all but guarantee 20 goal involvements (plus all the pens he’s won). Along with the electric pace, tireless workrate and near flawless injury record. Well for this season, at least.
  9. Same. Said it on here countless times. But I have good mates and family who support them. Been to watch them plenty of times at the Emirates. In the away end and also the home end. Yet their fans and Arteta’s carry on….. Just made it impossible to want them to do it. So another soulless City title. Yay.
  10. I’m sure it is rife in all top level sports. Doesn’t answer the question though. I’m still yet to see actual evidence about these players with asthma. Then some peer reviewed, controlled studies on the benefits of using an inhaler if you don’t actually have asthma and the benefits it brings. I mean, I might get one myself to improve my own performance. As in not getting out of puff from walking the dog
  11. So you think there is a massive doping scandal involving asthma inhalers/steroids. That everyone knows about. But the authorities have just let it slide and not investigating it? If it’s such a good system and you can get away with it so easily. Why are they the only ones doing it? Which players? Why/how are people privy to the personal medical records of a professional sports team? Not having that at all.
  12. Has there ever actually been any proof of this other than Man U fans on the internet?
  13. Assuming Pope and Joelinton aren't quite ready to be starting. I'd go with: Dubravka, Tino, Krafth/Schar, Burn, Hall, Longstaff, Bruno, Anderson, Gordon, Isak, Barnes. I don't think Howe wants to start with Gordon on the right, mind. Seems like he sees the left as his position and he'd rather have Murphy or Almiron on the right, as opposed to Gordon switching flanks to accommodate Barnes. I reckon Wilson will be in the squad. I really hope Schar is fit, as that would be a huge boost.
  14. I don’t like Klopp. But the way they play and how for most seasons. They have Consistently pushed City close, gone far in most of the cups and had some ridiculous points total without winning it. He clearly deserves a shit ton of credit. I think there were 4-5 seasons where City would have just won at an absolute canter if it wasn’t for Liverpool actually offering up some competition. Pep’s City has been pretty much unfair, illegal, almost. Literally has been by all accounts
  15. Not listened. But he is consistently the best pundit around these days. Always measured and eloquent and seems worth listening to. Basically the opposite to most of the mainstream ones. I think the fact he isn’t playing a daft OTT character or just a complete OTT clown (Keane, Richards, Merson, Carragher etc) goes against him.
  16. He’s incredibly slow and gets walked past at times when he gets left one on one. But I also thought he played really well.
  17. Garnacho’s end product was utter shite all game. Let’s hope he continues like that against us. As he gets in some really dangerous positions.
  18. Another big game where Saka has been crap and them limps off before the end
  19. Dalot is a good player. Always surprises me how fast he looks and technically he is really sound.
  20. Man U haven’t been bad here. Was hoping for a similar performance to the Palace game. Going to be tough on Wednesday.
  21. We’ve never finished above them in the prem era/my lifetime. I bet we’ve never been favourite going to Old Trafford, either? They’ve actually started this game pretty well. Plus they will have some players back. With our away form, it won’t be easy. But I still think the pace of our front 3 will cause them problems.
  22. Casemiro there. Moving at a similar speed to someone being subbed off in the 90th minute to waste time.

    Lewis Hall

Some of his passes were sublime yesterday. I believe they are now known as ‘line breaking passes’. Them ones.
  24. For people who study stats or watch more football than me. Who would people take from the sides that have gone down? Only one that I notice from limited highlights is Muric, the Burnley keeper. Mainly started looking at him after someone on here mentioned him. Looks like he’d be a much better and more suited number 2 than Dubravka and could actually challenge Pope for a starting spot. No idea what he would cost, mind? The only other was from earlier in the season was Vini Souza from Sheff Utd. But can’t say I’ve noticed him or even remembered him playing in 2024 from the limited amount of their games that I have seen. Always sounds a bit arrogant and like picking the carcass clean talking about relegated clubs players we could try and sign
  25. FWIW, it sounded a lot better on the TV than it usually does.
