Same. Missus was out. So watched it all on ITVx. Celebrated at the full time whistle again
-
I’d rather City win it to keep more Europa slots in the league.
-
Not surprised to hear Hall say Osula might be the quickest at the club. Did you see how fast he ran on the pitch at full time in the final?!
-
Worth remembering they are very different personalities, as well. Isak has the nickname Ice Cold/Iceman or whatever it is. He seems quite quiet at times and not too emotional. Then has the odd outburst when he scores or when he is having a go at the ref or someone. I don't think Bruno would be a very good poker player. It's out there for all to see. Isak seems like a much more reserved and chilled sort of character.

I hate to use a Sky Sports football pundit sort of term. But that is the definition of 'swaz'. Fades away at the perfect time.
-
There were people on here advocating for Wilson starting ahead of him. Or shifting him out wide or to 10 to accommodate Wilson. When we finished 4th. The way both were playing and scoring. It wouldn’t be as ridiculous to suggest we play both, TBF. But Wilson starting ahead of Isak is just daft.

Just a cool £200m dropped there.
-
Is this a friendly? Why is he playing 90 minutes FFS.
-
Don't the away team call it? He is just unlucky and never wins one and it seems like teams always turn us around now and perhaps that wasn't always the case before?
-
Yeah, I was going to say. As good as James is, he is never fit for a sustained period of time.

As far as I can tell. One of the youtube personality types and used to be on whatever that wank show/podcast was that True Geordie was on. A cacophony of cunts. -

Harsh on Merson, IMO. I know he sounds dense and can't pronounce players names. But at times, he actually makes some really valid points and isn't in it purely to annoy people into calling up a premium phone line. Agbonlahor is the worst out there of the more mainstream lot. The worst of the worst is that Rory bloke. Amazed he gets air time. But probably does for the soundbites and the segments they can clip up to drive debate, based on his shit takes and stupid comments. -
Don’t they get to play loads more games against the minnows these days, though?
-
I think most people have thought this for a while. Great player at times, proper moments player. Often wants to do too much, have extra touches, keep cutting back like you’ve alluded to. He does seem like a bit of a bellend these days. But I suppose he does play for Real Madrid. So it comes with the territory.

Compare and contrast to after the Brighton game. When someone said he was sick of the sight of them

Osula is fucking rapid

I’d wish him well at pretty much any club bar sunderland and those cunts. Can’t see there being an ounce of truth in this, mind.

You can tell he can’t stand him. Probably him that was leaking the stories to Hope Never knew they blocked Jones from going away with England. Always felt it was a bit odd he didn’t go a second time. As all of the noise around him from the England camp and his drills and sessions was positive, I thought? -
Yeah. Sadly we don’t have the City/Chelsea unlimited money cheat turned on Quick guesstimate you’d be looking at what, £250-300m for 6 of the 7 players you’ve listed.
-
Fucking Bayern, man. They really do take the biscuit.
-
Yeah. He oozes charisma and just seems a genuine, stand up guy. His emotions are what makes him so great and are also his downfall at times. You can tell it really does mean so much to him. In fairness, most of this squad manage to come across as ‘normal’. In this day and age and with how modern footballers come across and are portrayed. It’s refreshing to see.
-
I thought he kept making some really narrow, almost striker type runs in behind against West Ham and Liverpool and mentioned it in here. Watching that James Allcott analysis and he certainly did. Offers something different to Gordon. Certainly more of a goal/assist/try and get the ball into the box threat.

Barnes might be getting more minutes than he expected between now and the end of the season then.
