Midfield being walked through time and again. Going to be a long old second half of the season if we don’t get someone in. Along with Willock and Anderson playing plenty of games.

Fans have been quality. We have not. Nice to be in front at half time, mind!

Burn got targeted loads last season and dealt with it admirably most the time. But every week now he is a liability. Tino is better on the right. But should get a look on the left now and then if this is what Burn is going to keep serving up.

Some finish from Longy on his weaker peg. Not been back on the right that long. Wins the corner and then scores. Maybe he just has a huff playing on the left. Because he is horrendous there.

All of our ball players seem to be deep in our half. Basically tonight, 3 of our defenders and our keeper The minute we try and work our way out, we lose it. Or we have nobody showing. So we’ve been hoofing it long to nobody. Lacking any sort of technical quality in attacking areas.

Has Bruno been on the piss for the whole of his winter break? Looks sloppy and lazy as fuck so far. Nobody has looked great so far. Other than the fans.

So so bad at diving. If he isn’t going to improve on the ball in tight areas. Improve your diving FFS

He has mastered the art of being very hands on without giving a foul away and all. He was regularly just shoving people in the back and leaning on them from behind. He does look a quality player, mind.

Aye. Him and Van de Ven are perfect for that system. So quick and strong when left high and dry by the midfield/everyone else.

Udogie has been ragdolling everyone. Tried it with Walker and bounced off him As you can tell. Not much happening here.

Still, when have Colback or Hendrick ever looked anything close to that? They haven’t.

I thought Fulham looked really good last half hour or so against Liverpool. Just hope they have left it all out there. As it was mainly their first team, from what I can tell.

I dunno like. I’ve not watched loads of him. But always looked like he had something in the Prem and he takes the piss on the ball a lot of the time when I’ve seen him in the Champo. Miles better than Colback and Hendrick. I did think he was younger than 25, mind.

I do feel like he is always playing through niggles and is strapped up in various places. But his form hasn’t really been affected. Apart from maybe earlier this season, although I might be imagining that. He certainly is ‘robust’. Gets injured and is back playing, running through brick walls and smashing people a week later I’m not going to write him off after he finally gets a long term injury.

Do these players not have agents? Why would it be just the club hawking them about in the press? The player and their reps may well have been briefed about them possibly being moved on in the summer, regardless. Now with all the FFP shit, the way the season has gone and all the injuries, with us desperately needing a midfielder. It might have been mutually agreed between all parties that offers would be listened to in Jan or that they/we can sound out potential suitors. Oh and there is also the fact that so many in the media know fuck all when it comes to NUFC. Quite a lot of this has been one loose rumour. That 4-5 other journos have then run with, adding fuck all new to the story.

He was integral to how we played last season and fits the system very well. He is limited technically though and needs to be upgraded as much as Almiron or Burn, for me. But I suppose we did half try that with Tonali. Who didn’t really do much to cement his spot prior to the ban. Genuine question. As I have thought about it since all this FFP/PSR shite. What would his value be and what sort of club would be interested? Really hard to gauge. As he fits our system perfectly and has been a really important player. But I don’t think he is a particularly good midfielder at this level.
