You’re just linking the Gordon case to this as if it somehow means they’re the same. So it is more than likely just Howe not trusting him in the system yet. Are we all not just speculating at this point and don’t know all the ins and outs. What’s wrong with that? I don’t see the parallels with Gordon, personally. You do, which is fine. Apologies if I have misinterpreted what you’re getting at. But that’s how it comes across.

I genuinely have no recollection of that 4-2 game at Ewood Park. Raya with some awful keeping for the 3rd and 4th. Brereton before he became Chilean. Roberts who I don’t remember playing for us. Nevermind scoring. Armstrong scoring against us. I must have totally missed this game and all highlights at the time somehow.

12 sub apps as well, which I’m sure were more than 5 minutes here and there, from memory. Didn’t he also get an ankle injury early on that kept him out for 3-4 weeks? Plus he joined mid-season and was trying to get into a team that was playing brilliantly for the most part. So because there might be some similarities with the Gordon situation. Who ended up coming good in a big way. You find it odd that people might speculate about Hall? About his ability, whether Howe rates him, the lack of minutes across the board, the transfer fee and what the criteria might be and whatever else people are commenting on. I totally see why people might be intrigued.

The shithouser’s shithouse he can never be allowed to leave. Fuck FFP. Keep him here until he’s 45.

Absolute cunts. I was going to watch it live. But I’ll be out for the draw now.

Nah. Pope is much better at shot stopping and crosses IMO. He regularly makes hard saves look routine because of his footwork and giant wing span. Dubs’ decent save last night should have been routine, really. Did well to recover of course. But ended up being a fingertip save in the middle of the net. Either way, Dubs has come in and done a great job in the end. After looking awful for a good few games at the start. -
Was he trying to claim it was a deliberate handball then? Fucking hell. That’s a bit of a reach Also, the whole ‘that’s your opinion’ bollocks. No, it is literally the law for handball in the league
-
I suppose for me. The fact he never gets a look in full stop when we have no players to pick from is concerning. Regardless of who’s problem it is. If Ritchie is getting minutes ahead of him. Then it is the transfer fee that we supposedly obligated to pay that becomes an issue IMO. If a man that was finished at this level 3-4 years ago and can’t actually sprint these days. Can get game time ahead of Hall. Then how in the fuck is he worth that much? It is certainly money that could have been invested elsewhere.

He is so important on set pieces at both ends, aye. He seems to get skinned a lot of the time. But not actually fully beaten. As he often gets back and gets his long legs in the way to stop the cross. He seems such a decent bloke and has been a great buy for the most part. But his lack of ability on the ball out from the back and anything meaningful from open attacking play is getting really frustrating and hinders us as a team. Not his fault, mind. Not his game at all. Plus that’s not to say the trade off from other areas of his game would result in a net positive.

Gordon showed some flashes of brilliance and actually played a lot in comparison, though. Hall has been here all season and seems further from the first team than he did at the start of it. When everyone was fit. Be a shit forum if everyone kept their mouth shut and didn’t speculate or voice any concerns

Yep. Plus Barca are an absolute clown show at the minute and will surely come unstuck with their finances sooner or later. Of course the pull of such a massive club would be hard to turn down. If they were to come in for him. But I kind of see it as the same as Howe here. Perfect fit for the club they are at right now. With plenty of scope to keep improving.
-
Never thought I would type or say such a sentence. But he’d be a fool to leave Villa for Barca
-
The bottom bit has some truth in it. I don’t think people thought he’d be straight into the first XI. But would at least be challenging Burn and Targett, whilst providing some cover for the midfield and wing positions. Yet he can’t get a game or any meaningful minutes. All whilst we have had arguably our worst injury crisis in Premier League history. You don’t think that is a worry (N-O™️) at all? The fee is relevant if we really are hamstrung by FFP. A lot to be laying out for a player who seems nowhere near the first team or even rated by Howe at this point. We have hit on most of our transfers. So it’s not a disaster. But this looks like a terrible deal at the minute. For him and us.

Murphy off after 70 for Tino was perhaps 10 minutes late. After that, what subs would you have liked him to make with the state of that bench and With the score only being 2-0? Hall doesn’t count, as we know he is only allowed to play 5 minutes a game at most
-
I thought we played pretty badly for the most part. But that just isn’t true, is it? We could have had 5 and all then
-
Why was Dubravka a big candidate for MOTM? He made one good save, after he looked to be unsighted or wrong-footed. But people would have rightly been disappointed if that had gone in. As it wasn’t hit hard and not in the corner. Didn’t have much to do after that. Nobody played particularly well. But Dubs wasn’t any better or worse than most of them.
-
Silva lost his head after the win at SJP and he was equally waspy and bitter after the game tonight. We were below par. They were energetic and got in some nice areas. Without actually doing anything of note. Bar a few chances. He’s made 7, seemingly unforced changes. Not created much and then moaned about it all and how they were the much better team Whinging prick.

Must have zoned out and ignored the commentary without realising after a while. As I don’t remember this?!

Fulham away last season had a fair few of the classics getting belted out. Helps when you’re winning and the only ones in the ground singing. The score and/or performance makes a massive difference. But it did seem like a lot of people who haven’t been risking going on another ST, decided to go tonight.
-
Hopefully we somehow miraculously sort out our immobile, slow and flat midfield between now and Tuesday. Getting battered, if not. We did look a lot better second half, mind and actually knocked it about a bit once it opened up. Just hope we’re still in the game when that stage of the game arrives against Villa.
-
Are you ok? Seems a bit of an overreaction, if not.
-
In the hat. Not a good game or performance. But we needed a positive result and we got it. Plenty to work on and hopefully the start of something with players near to coming back.
-
Probably our best player second half. Seemed to grow in confidence once the game opened up. Been good both ways.
-
Better ball from Gordon and that was our goal of the season so far. Quality play for a change

I think I’d rather join ISIS than spend an hour in Lee Dixon’s company. Just a complete joy vacuum.
