  1. Bishop acting like his fucking brief. No comment, that's an unfair question. What a smug wanker.
  2. The buck stops with me. Heard that before....
  3. That's what I thought. For a split second, I almost fell into the trap of thinking he's coming across as a decent human being. Despite the terrible analogies and limited vocabulary. Then I remembered who he was.
  4. 2000 people work there is that excessive ? Well he seemed to think so and so did the committee. Seems like a reasonably poor HSE record. Roughly 3 ambulances called out per month does seem a bit high, to me? But I don't work in health and safety and I don't know what other companies are like in comparison.
  5. 110 ambulances to Shirebrook in a 3 year period
  6. He just keeps saying "I think so. I hope it has been done." Is he the owner of SD or not?! Fuck me. He is awful.
  7. Bishop has piped up "well this is the man that goes into the staff canteen three times a week!" What a guy. Must be a great boss.
  8. Spot on. It's like listening to someone down the pub, who owns a one man and his dog, painting and decorating firm. No offence meant to painters!!
  9. He repeats every question that is asked. Then just looks up going "uh. Erm. Uh. It. It. It."
  10. He's fucked. He's like me when I used to get a bollocking off the teacher Have you addressed this "yes. Well I hope so. I've encouraged it. I'm not there 24/7." Urgh. Such a cunt.
  11. Assuming Tiote goes. We'll need to get another centre mid or two. Seems clear that Benitez doesn't rate Saivet. He didn't see Shelvey as a starter and Colback is hardly going to impose himself on games. Anita is just too small and seems to play better at right back. We won plenty of games last time we were down. With Nolan and Guthrie as a midfield 2! So I'm not massively worried. But I think we could do with signing a starting CM and maybe a backup, as well.
  12. He looked alright, if a bit off the pace on his debut. Played well against Everton and was the only player you could say that about. He was taken off not long after half time Don't think we saw him again after that?!
  13. Under Armour Clan ain't nuthing ta fuck with
  14. I don't like his face. He always looks like he is whining and in a strop about something. 3/10. Would not sign.
  15. Yes you feel like that which is fair enough and why players such as Kevin Nolan and Mark Noble have turned down the chance to play for Ireland in the past. Some people do feel a strong family connection to the country of their parents/grandparents though Genuinely not trying to troll here. But do you not think the large majority of players that are eligible for both. Are picking teams like Wales, Ireland, Scotland etc. Because they're clearly not good enough to play for England? I mean, Rob Elliot was your second choice keeper, until his knee went, wasn't he?
  16. I'm actually in love with the man tbh the feeling I get in my stomach when I see things like this, or hear him talk I know it sounds gay as f*** but I actually love the man... I'm 22 years of age and for the first time since a daft Euro 04 poster, I've stuck a poster up in my wall (the one of him free with the programme on the last game of the season) and even when I was a kid I had very few posters up in my wall cus I thought they were cringey as f***... But he changes it i would genuinely let the man sleep with my girlfriend (don't think she'd be too keen though) genuinely the most excited I've been about a season since the summer of 07 and it's all down to that man I f***ing love him !!!!! I'm down with the gay love and the swinging. But a poster on your wall? That's too far, FFS.

    England

I like how Woy didn't want to take Townsend or Walcott. Just so he could basically play 2 of his 5 strikers, as wingers Square pegs, round holes. As most people predicted.
  18. That's why I cancelled. Had my ticket for 2 seasons up there. Then, they broke L7 up after our first season back in the Prem. Due to the nasty songs, directed at our brilliant owner. Everyone tried to get into Level 4 and just keep it going. But the box office blocked that, of course. Even though there were hundreds of seats available in that area and you'd still often see empty seats across all sections, on a match day. Strawberry Corner is great fun and the Gallowgate can still get going for a big game. I guess if they now suddenly care about fans that want to have a sing song. Then these areas would be more conducive to a good atmosphere? The noise didn't really travel that well from up in L7. But it was great fun when you were up there.
  19. Cancelled previously, not going back. TBH, if I lived closer. I probably would return. But I play football most Saturdays and I have to pick and choose games now, as it is. Before the WBA game, I hadn't been for two years and towards the end of the Pardew era. I had basically packed in going, anyway. As it was just awful to watch and I didn't want to fund the Ashley regime. In true fickle football fan fashion. I'm looking forward to getting to more games this season. I'll try and make Sunday games, midweek aways and any matches when I get a free Saturday.
  20. Ashley will be spending enough to get back up. Not that he is known to speculate to accumulate. But there is so much money to be had in the Prem now. I think he will possibly even go over and above, to try and guarantee promotion. Either that. Or unlike last time, we'll keep a load of players on big wages. In the hope that they're too good for the division. TBH, I'd rather we ship some of them out and get some fresh blood in. I can't see many of the so called bigger names, putting in 100% in the Championship.
  21. WTF?! Just read they finished the game, playing in that!! Madness.
  22. Go on then Sam B. I'll have a goooo.
