  1. He had a lot of influence on acting the way he needed to so that the headlines would be written about him. In particular the stretcher that wasn't needed and the touchline antics in the second half. Oh brave Ronaldo being stretchered off the pitch, only to spend the rest of the game bouncing around the touchline... Google the injury man. His knee was twisted inside out. It's probably a cruciate. Running around, then jumping about on the side line, after doing his ACL EDIT: partially torn. Not a complete rupture. Surprised they were happy for him to be going so nuts on the sidelines, if it is his ACL that has a tear.
  2. We've rarely seen peak Sissoko in a Newcastle kit and people think it's because he's lazy or actually just a s*** player. He's clearly a talented footballer, but if I had to play alongside absolute dogshit for three years, under the "leadership" of Pardew, Carver, and McClaren like he has, I'd be more than a little miffed as well. The times that he has attempted to make things happen on his own, he gets hounded out when it inevitably fails. Despite most of the other worthless c***s in the squad standing put doing f*** all, dicks in hand, tongues wagging. It's clear that Sissoko wants away, but I'll never understand fans who bitch and bitch about how poorly run the club is and then hound out a player who doesn't want to play for such a shithouse operation. Agree and disagree. You would be giving a free pass to most of the squad, using this viewpoint. We're a bit shit and we are poorly run. It's only fair that you half arse it and put in a gutless performance week after week and talk about the champions league and leaving on a monthly basis. He's getting paid plenty of money and he has been 'mailing it in' as you yankee doodles would say Personally, I don't have a problem with him wanting to better himself and leave. But when he has spent the last season or more, sulking and not really putting any effort in. I think that's unforgivable, personally. If he just played well and got his head down. He'd have a longer line of suitors and he'd get his dream move to Arsenal or wherever. Watching him and Wijnaldum against Spurs was brutal. They suddenly decided they wanted to play football again.
  3. Only played 16 times last season for them and 6 of those were in the Copa Del Rey so could be a goer I guess, as he's obviously not a first team regular. TBF to him, he had Juanfran to compete with. So he may well be a good player in his own right. Just happened to be competing against one of the best right backs in Europe, for a starting spot. The name rings a bell. But I can't say I remember seeing him play. Still, the standard of players we're signing is quite impressive. We're not just bargain basement hunting, only looking for bargains or re-sale value. It's refreshing. Just read he was also used a bit on the left. So he had Felipe Luis as competition. Not any easier!
  4. Think I'm going to this one and will just get tickets in the 'neutral' end. As the lad I usually go with, is using all of his ST's, so no spares. I've been twice before and it's always been full of our fans in the stand behind the goal, so I'm not sure it matters.
  5. What else do you think? Quiet. I'm thinking http://i.imgur.com/mzV5xLT.gif
  6. Imagine if it was Pardew being asked that question. "Well there are clubs out there, owned by sovereign states and we're vulnerable to that. We can't compete financially with clubs like Swansea and Southampton, or even with the likes of Bournemouth and Crystal Palace." "If a big bid comes in during the window, then we'd have to consider it." "Please buy my players. Please?"
  7. I think there would be about a 0% chance of Joe Allen coming here. I think their fans actually rate him, he was getting a look in and playing well towards the end of the season under Klopp, and I think he would have a long line of suitors, that are playing in the top league, either here or abroad.
  8. My views would be he won't be leaving, to play for a Championship side.
  9. We've had enough bad managers. Pardew is more than that - a smug, hateable conman. What did he do exactly? That's what I'm trying to understand. Tell lies, try and pass himself off as the English Mourinho, dance like a f***ing c***....I could go on. I mean, for a foreigner like me, your absolutely relentless hatred for Pardew is almost comical. "Kill all his family" ffs He did everything in his power to dumb down expectations for an owner hell-bent on running this club on the cheap. He defended him to the hilt and blamed supporters for conceding a last minute equalizer at home to Crystal Palace. He constantly lied through his teeth and embarrassed the club by his behavior on the touchline. He also couldn't speak proper English and sounded like a used-car salesman when talking to the press. He also discarded Hatem Ben Arfa, one of the most naturally gifted and entertaining players we have ever had at a time when his own side was playing some of the most turgid and lifeless football around. And losing. Agree with it all. But I thought that game where he blamed the fans, was Reading at home? When we lost 2-1 and he said the fans were getting excited at 1-0, which meant the players were too gung ho and it allowed Reading to equalise Unless he did it on more than one occasion.... Don't remember him saying that after the Reading game and he probably didn't tbf to the lying c***. That was all his own undoing changing the entire look of the side thinking the game was one on 60 minutes. "We had to take Cabaye off because of an injury, that brought negative reaction from the crowd and that spread around." You're right, it was the Palace 3-3 game. But I knew he said something about the fans, after that Reading game. I remember watching it, thinking it was the game where many had finally given up on Pardew. Taking Marveaux off, pissed the crowd off, as he was playing well. Then, he took Cabaye off and about 80% of SJP were booing. Obviously, the cunt carried on for ages after that. But I think it was the first time I noticed a general shift in how the majority of fans perceived him.

  11. I like polo shirts as well, but wouldn't be seen dead in one if it wasn't Ralph Lauren or Lacoste.
  12. I'd imagine teams are going to be defending pretty deep against us, a lot of the time. Someone with a good delivery and an eye for a pass. Will be more useful than someone who is all about speed.
  13. Exactly. I always thought his wife was a bit shit, considering how good looking and rich, Cabaye is. I thought it made a refreshing change. Like you say, he's now decided to fall in line and just go for a worldy. Wanker.
  14. I don't think Mitro is a Rafa player, at all. But I love the mad fucker, so I hope he stays. I'd be gutted if Mbemba went, but I am hopeful we keep hold of him. Remember we lost Taylor and Colo, too. So if we get two centre backs in. It could easily be a player to push for a starting place and another as more of a backup.
  15. Depends on which way were kicking. Lol, it doesn't though. Mainly down the left at Bournemouth whenever I saw them but he can plays equally well down both flanks, although I have a feeling Rafa is going to put him on the right for some reason. I thought he usually played on the right and spent a lot of time drifting in field? Certainly remember him doing that in the couple of games I saw him on SKy for Swindon and I thought that was the case last year? He certainly does look like Chef Ramsay
  16. Yeah. I just spent a good ten minutes browsing her insta. I would bum her into next week. Outrageous.
  17. I suppose it is a bit of a concern. But towards the end of the season, are back 5 looked pretty solid. So Krul, Colo and Janmaat leaving, would hardly be the end of the world. They either didn't feature, or the team improved when they were missing. Tiote is a strange one. As he has been in and out the side for a long while and only seems to turn up in certain game situations or when he feels like it. With him always being absent, I don't think it would be a huge loss. Cisse, see Tiote. Thauvin barely played, not really a loss. Sissoko and Wijnaldum are arguably our most talented players. Yet last season, plenty were saying they should have been dropped. With their attitudes, perhaps we would be btter served replacing them? It's a shitter we're losing Townsend, but it's not massively unexpected. Plus, he had only been here 6 months. So he would have had his own bedding in period. I think if we were to keep most the back 4 together, and 4-5 more advanced players, even only 2-3 starters. Then I don't think it will be a huge issue. Especially if we get a lot of players in early and have a full pre-season under Rafa. Think how much he changed under his tenure, after only a few games. With the same group of failures that McClaren was working with? I'm sure he'll be alright getting some new players to gel, after working with them before the season even starts If we end up with 9 new starters come August, then I might be a bit worried.
  18. Far better than Townsend. His delivery is brilliant. EDIT: I mean his set pieces and crossing are. I don't mean he is a far better player.
  19. Maybe not as well put as that. But I'm sure a lot of players come out with similar comments when they leave? I feel a bit 'meh' about his message to the fans. He does come across as a stand up guy, from the little I have seen and heard from him. But if he genuinely believes that stuff, why has he left? To go and play under Pardew's tutelage, of all people? I'm sure from staying up here for a short while, he would have heard some odd things about Pardew? Maybe like Cabaye, he thinks he'll get an easy ride? I think it boils down to more money and being back in London, personally. He must realise there is quite a high chance we could get promoted and Palace could go down?
  20. Sad to see Polska out. Saw a couple of delights in the crowd last night.
