This break has arguably come at a good time. Gives players like Tiote and Guthrie time to get over their knocks, think Cabaye and Perch are carrying niggles as well? Also gives time for players like Ba to recharge their batteries. He's looked a bit jaded of late and the whole team looked off the boil. Could say that we want to keep the run going and not miss a weekend, but we looked sluggish today I thought and the options on the bench were very limited. Don't read much into his little strop, you see players do that all the while.

Look at me look me i've got a wall pathetic I also ran straight into my 16th century fireplace in my listed, 9 bedroom mansion. Just got back from holiday in Barbados as well, only just made it back in time after banging some supermodel in the back of my Ferrari. Copyright: 1 upmanship - RTG Mongtards

 Seems to have mastered the cameo role off the bench. Actually pleased to see him for the last 20-30 minutes of games these days. Fair play to the big man.

Echo the last 3 comments. Another decent performance, looks able at the back as well as going forward now. Just a shame he's so one footed. Still think we'll see him at right back next season.

I was that excited after the goal, I got up and ran straight into the wall. Watched it back over 30 times, it gets better and better. Think I prefer it to the Blackburn one, both amazing though.

Slightly worried about the midfield 3 with Perch anchoring it. He's been class of late don't get me wrong, but not sure we'll play with much fluidity. Chuffed Colo is fit.
-
Did I miss something? Did Ryder win biggest mong journo award? He does write some right shite, his headlines are always misleading as well.
-
Probably see him as cover for CB too, especially with us having two games in a short space of time. Tav played there against Accrington Stanley didn't he? Plus Simpson must now be seen as centre back cover. Currently using Perch as a centre back as well, but we'd still have Santon, Ferguson and Raylor. Praying Colo is ok. Dave has made me paranoid now!
-
Assuming Guthrie is injured, I hope Jonas shifts back to midfield and we bring Santon or Ferguson in. Not sure I'd want Gosling or Vuckic in the midfield 3? Will probably end up with Raylor at left back...... That would be horrendous though, no cover from Jonas and he'd be fucked.
-
Not once said he can necessarily be relied on or we shouldn't buy another centre half. His injury record is patchy at best and the fact we need another centre back is abundantly clear. Just thought the comment about starting the season with a non English first XI, or with Douglas next to Colo was wide of the mark, as I would expect Taylor to be in it.
-
Ahem. What about S.Taylor?
-
He said nothing of the sort... Just light heartily joked that to keep Ba happy (as he knows he's not as happy playing out wide doing a job for the team) he'd switch him in the middle... Panic over cheers. Someone on the other forum putting 2 and 2 together nad getting 83.

Read on another forum. Someone had bothered to listen to it and said this. Worrying if true!

Not listened myself, but supposedly been on TalkSport saying he's going to revert to 4-4-2 for the rest of the season to push on Hope to fuck he is just trying some petty mind games, that would be fucking ridiculous. Not sure I could handle going back to the hoof ball, fail to retain possession, chase a bit, win it back and repeat. I'm a nervous wreck watching it, it doesn't get the best out of our players and it's frustrating as hell. He's onto a winning formula, why would you change it?

:'( Did AP confirm this? Real shame that, as he looked quality in a midfield 3. Also not sure who will now play left back against Swansea. Santon is very attack minded and not sure AP trusts him yet, R.Taylor will get murdered with no support from Jonas and Ferguson has barely played this season. Hope he sticks with the 4-3-3 and doesn't revert to 4-4-2 due to injured players.

He looks about 40 and his moves are shit.

Not meaning to piss on anyone's chips, as I am cautiously optimistic about the summer window as well. However, wasn't it mooted that the Cisse deal came about from the £10m up front Virgin sponsorship? Obviously that might be inaccurate, but I'm not overly confident we'll spend much, unless other players leave (can see one Ba or Tiote going sadly). In fairness though, we don't really need to spend a shit load, our recent signings have been alright

 Never even knew that! That is mental.
-
Yep. Personally can't believe some people seem so nonchalant about him going. He'd be a massive loss.
-
..... and because he isn't as good as Messi.

Everyone is setting HBA up for a fall, he's not the most consistent. If AP tweaks his tactics and HBA has to defend more, we could see another Norwich like performance. However, if on form, I do see him as the sort of player to worry Jose. Players that hug the touchline and knock it and run (Obertan, Walcott) get bossed by him. Quick bursts of acceleration and tackling on his right foot are not Jose's strong points, he seems to take a while to get going, although once he is up and running, he is stupidly fast. Hoping Ben Arfa gets a bit more of a free role like he did against WBA, would like to see him inside a bit more often. Think he'll struggle a bit if he stays wide all game.
-
Bolton was class. Although I was suffering with the worst hangover known to man. Everyone was just casually smoking and drinking in the stands near me it was one of them were even the smell of smoke made you feel ropey. Still went off when HBA scored, the game was pretty awful up until that point.

This season at the SOL was superb. Was right at the back near the police control box (think that's what it is). Anyway, a couple inside were obviously mags 9-1 FTM, because they were celebrating as well. Everyone was banging on the glass and just going loopy. It was bloody hot and all!
