  1. Simenon did the business for me. £7.50 e/w and a 5er on the nose. Only small bets that come nowhere earlier, so about 70 up. £20 free bet on Carlton House tomorrow, plus probably a bit more and maybe a forecast with So You Think. Not really had a look at the other races yet.
  2. Pays 60/1~ Good luck Stu. Carlton House is my banker for the week, s*** or bust on him tomorrow I reckon. Frankel is a machine! Time to step him up to 10f now. He's by Galileo and would surely stay, has far too much class for any horse around at the minute. Surprised Cecil won't be stepping him up in trip until the Juddmonte. Nowt left to beat over a mile. F/C with Excelebration was like printing money. So I had a pound on it

Not one of the players sang it the other night so I made a point of watching again tonight, again none of the players sang it. Any reason you reckon? I know not all of our players always join in when singing God save the Queen just seems a bit strange than none of the Spaniards opened their mouths? 4. Get £2m in for Simpson pretty much in the bag, offer £5m ish. If we could manage that, it would be a superb bit of business. A massive upgrade on Simpson for around 3.5 million quid. Perhaps they are waiting on someone to actually show interest in Simpson? WOuld guess we'll up our offer either way. Come on QPR, make a bid FFS!
  5. Anyone who has the sportingbet app on their phone, stake £20 on one race at Royal Ascot all this week and get £20 free bet the following day, applies all week I think. I've had £10 e/w on Cogito in the 3.45 to get this. 22/1 so hardly hopeful Anyone backing Noseda's horses, supposedly his yard has a virus at the minute, so I'd be careful with that. Not done much today, a few £1/£2 bets on races with BetVictor so I can watch on my Iphone. Gabrial & New Pearl e/w double and e/w singles. If I manage to win anything at all I fancy that Simenon in the staying race later. Did Veiled last year, but no prep run and recent form has put me off, hopefully don't regret it if I back the other one.
  6. Yep, Frankel and BC need to be in a treble with at least a half decent priced fancy. What did you get on Frankel Stu? I see it's 1/6 pretty much everywhere now Think BC, Frankel & Fame and Glory(Or Bated Breath if as expected it dodges the Aussie) is a good price. Edit: Fame & Glory has been backed right into 11/10(was 5/2 last week) Just put a few quid on the four of them at 31/5 Not sure, but I thought there were ground concerns over Bated Breath? They're saying it's good to soft, but I reckon it will be closer to soft on the day. I reckon they blag these going reports at times!
  7. Away from the Euros for a minute. Anything at Royal Ascot people fancy? Normally end up betting on most the races and winning (or usually losing) loads. Not a great deal I fancy this year mind. But I think Carlton House has a good shout at 5s in the Prince of Wales on Wednesday. Cirrus De Aigles and So You Think a bit short, but are the form horse. Just think CH is an unexposed 10f horse and has a really nice turn of foot. I know he's been working really well and the yard are pinning most of their 2012 hopes on him. Tales of Grimm on the Thursday for Stoute and all. Looks like he needs 10f and ran well at Sandown over a mile. Stayed on at the end and was flying in the last half a furlong or so. Nahrain and Opinion Poll are the only others I fancy. Will no doubt end up spunking loads on silly little bets though, do wish I didn't work in an office Already done a Gabrial/New Pearl £2.50 e/w double and £5 e/w singles. 14s and 20s, like that's gonna happen

Such a weapon. That boulder faced twat did fuck all. I wouldn't have even realised he was on through anything he did, but the lanky, ugly cunt is pretty hard to miss.

How many times has Catts (for me like) said this now? What a weapon

 the last few pages have killed me, the photoshop of that frog pic was amazing as well. This one is the funniest for me though. Basic Mick looks a bit like Partridge there
  12. I had this last night, some bloody scouse brute who is about 6ft 2" and clumsy as fuck smashed into me. Tackled from behind, went through me to get the ball and clattered my knee before he got the faintest of touches. "Great tackle, he got the ball"
  13. Him and Santon as full backs would be superb, might leave us a bit short at times, but we'd keep hold of possession in the final third and be a real threat going forward. Was originally keen on signing a left back and shifting Santon across. But after watching Debuchy, I want us to get him. Looks a real class act.
  14. Thought it was a drab affair, neither team looked that arsed and ran out of ideas after an hour, not that there were that many ideas in the first place. England were a bit like Chelsea with everyone behind the ball, rarely threatened, but we were well organised and defended well. France seemed keen on trying to walk it into the box, then when they did eventually get it wide, nobody made a run to get into the area!? Said in another thread, barely seen Giroud, but surprised he didn't get on. Also found it strange that they waited until the 80th-85th minute to make a change If both go through, neither team would fare well against Spain or Italy. Think we look really lacking in the creativity department and against better teams I can see us getting soundly beaten.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

wasn't someone on here today saying about how blanc does that with his subs ? 5 minutes before we brought on our replacement we looked f***ed, most players really flagging. Would have been the perfect time to send on Hatem and/or Menez and possibly Valbuena to really stretch our tired legs. It would have also lead to a difficult introduction for any subs we would have then made... check out hatem garrincha's post from earlier on today. got blanc spot on. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,91227.msg3752752.html#msg3752752 Nasri man of the match today but he doesn't like to play on the right. Debuchy was frequently alone on that side and Hatem shoud have replace Malouda earlier in the second half. France also needed a player like Giroud today, Benzema playing too depth but Blanc kept him on the bench... I have barely even seen the guy play (highlight reels ), but I was saying this to my mate. The amount of times you got it in wide areas and looked to cross, or did cross, you had nobody in the box. Debuchy was very impressive going forward and whipped in some great balls. But it was always about 4 England players and maybe 1 French player if that, in the box.
  16. From wiki: Fixed odds are not necessarily presented in the lowest possible terms; if there is a pattern of odds of 5–4, 7–4 and so on, odds which are mathematically 3–2 are more easily compared if expressed in the mathematically equivalent form 6–4. Similarly, 10–3 may be stated as 100–30. To the average punter with minimal knowledge of betting, 100/30 looks more appealing than 10/3. Half of my mates who have a casual bet don't understand fractional odds. I'm the other way round to you lot, whilst I understand decimal odds, I prefer fractional and always will.

We only sign unproven foreigners, whilst they set the transfer window alight with PROVEN PL QUALITY. Green with envy I am.

Probably because McClean isn't an unearthed gem. Compared to someone like Cabaye or Cisse, he's just a grubby potato that they forgot to wash the mud off.
  19. What were Lewandowski's odds for topscorer before the game started. Been saying for the last few days I'm gonna back him e/w, read it on a few forums as well and then typically bottled it (forgot)

Wow, not like this place to overreact to a fairly run of the mill interview
  21. Stake £25. Wait for the bet to be settled, then you get it within a day or two.
  22. I would like to think I know a little bit about flat racing. Live in Newmarket, get the odd tip (not always good) and go quite often. Still, forum tipster I am not and this was a good weekend for me. Follow me at your peril, I'll probably bankrupt you mate
  23. Good Thursday, Friday and Saturday for me. Gatewood on the Friday, Main Sequence and Astrology e/w in the derby and only Mince let me down in a treble with Camelot and ST Nicholas Abbey. Showing a £211 profit from £57 outlay. No more until Royal Ascot unless I get some decent tips. (No not the Samoan football team)
