I think we will struggle against Everton’s midfield based on this. I know Man U’s is easy to play against. But even with 10, Everton are really slick and effective with their passing. Got a really nice balance to their side at the minute.

It is easy to say now in hindsight. But keeping Minteh and Anderson and selling Gordon would have been the better deal for us. Assuming Liverpool or whoever were actually in for Gordon, that is. Of course there are so many variables, would Anderson develop like he has, would Minteh manage to play ahead of Murphy and also develop further. Plus I think it is fair to say the fanbase would have kicked off at the time. I certainly think I would have. I dunno, not sure where I was with my opinion on Gordon at the time I think and hope he can regain his form. I just think he needs that chip on his shoulder, radge attitude back. The new and improved Gordon hasn’t actually improved. He’s gotten a lot worse.
