Sounds like a South African flanker.

He may be a great player. But he is such an unlikeable bellend. I bet there is a strong correlation between people that like Trump, twerk for billionaires and incorrectly think Ronaldo is better than Messi.
-
Will he turn up? Has he been back in America since…. Well, you know

Chancel Mbemba with a 91st minute winner against Cameroon for DR Congo. Is there another world cup qualifier for them against a country from another continent or are they through now?
-
He is incredibly annoying. Whilst simultaneously putting out very good tactical analysis.
-
How would that work? Wissa would have to be fully bought into that and openly lie to Dr. Congo. Can’t keep him here if he is fully fit and he wants to play, can we?! Plus would he not then be out until the new year, anyway? Still holding out hope that he might come back in a few weeks and then not go to AFCON. About a 1% chance of that happening, granted. But there’s still a chance…..
-
That isn’t a new thing. He has always referenced height in the team. If for example he persisted with Burn out of position and an out of sorts Joelinton. While a fully fit Hall and Ramsey/Miley always stayed on the bench, we carried on stinking the pitch out in away games and that was still his reasoning. Then I would start to worry.

He is on not far from me (Bury St Edmunds) in the new year. Still tickets available. Think I’ll look into getting some.

If the votes were anonymous. There would be a lot more voting yes.

Similar to me then. It was after Brentford away last season where I really couldn’t see how he would turn it around. I’m not saying I don’t have concerns. As I have quite a few. But I think he has earned a bit more patience and trust from me, for sure.

I think similar to Liverpool earlier in the season when they kept doing it. It clearly isn't sustainable. However, they were also playing shite and were lucky in most games. From the bits and pieces I can see, sunderland are competing and playing . Even if they are getting the rub of the green with late goals, shit keeping errors etc. If you want to look at it another way, it is a bit meaningless. You could remove goals between say 46-55 minutes and that would give you a totally different league table. I would hazard a guess more late goals are scored due to fatigue, switching off, game state and whatever else. But I can't say I've checked. Ultimately the game is played from the first whistle to the last. Something we have struggled with already this season. We've dropped 2 points from Liverpool and Arsenal and conceded two howlers in stoppage time when chasing the game against Brentford and West Ham. You can chuck in Brighton scoring in the 84th for good measure and another point dropped. We've only managed a late goal to change things once. Bruno against Fulham. Hopefully we've learnt our lesson before the derby........

‘Just telling it like it is.’

Kjaer is the odd one out there.
-
Will you though? Or will you just change your name if he proves you wrong (again).

That’s the one. Still mad as a hatter I see.

What was Lucky’s username before and why the new alias? I do remember that DoF/manager suggestion last time

I’ve just watched the first episode of that Pluribus. The scary as fuck, fictional scenario in that. Is less worrying than some of the takes in this thread

This place is full of people tripping over themselves to get in and tell everyone ‘I told you so’. All based on incomplete information and heavily influenced by their pre-existing opinion and view. It’s mind numbing. Even if there is some weight to the argument. Who the fuck cares?! What do you want, a medal? These boys are here now. So we may as well support them and hope they find some form or you know, get a meaningful run of games so we can actually form an opinion on them.
-
After a good start in the game, I thought he was off the pace against West Ham and all. Hard to judge players on away performances so far. As almost to a man, they've been below their usual or best levels.
-
This is spot on. Someone even said similar to me on Sunday referencing the Dan Burn header.
-
Luis Enrique + Barcola, I'd imagine.
-
100% that is what I am saying. It happens far too often. But that is the modern game, sadly.
-
I'm assuming Pope will be and all if it was actually concussion? The same with Schar earlier in the season against Barca. It didn't make much sense for him to play on and then come off 5-10 minutes later anyway.
-
It just feels like history repeating itself. Teams are finding ways to isolate him, we're not covering him with the midfield like Joelinton used to do so well or Gordon when he plays. As he doesn't track back like he used to. He also has Botman next to him who is actually slower than Burn at top speed, I reckon. It's a recipe for disaster. He's banned for the next game and you'd imagine will miss another game soon for 5 yellows. So we can see what the team looks like without him in and playing with genuine full backs. I'd probably have him at LCB ahead of Botman at the minute. If he has to play left back for whatever reason. I think having Schar RCB and Thiaw LCB would give us better cover. Howe has always referenced his height for set pieces and seems to like having a team of big lads. But whilst that's great at set pieces. Burn at left back and Joelinton in midfield isn't helping at all when it comes to holding onto the ball or trying to pass the ball up the pitch.
-
Didn't Howe used to play that or a sort of 4-4-1-1 at Bournemouth? I'm sure the 4-3-3 he seems wedded to here was a change from what he used to play.
