Isn't Chicharito on about £100k a week or something? Way out of our wage structure, that was never gonna happen.
-
Three much needed points thank fuck.
-
Rafa's got Christmas and Easter mixed up.
-
What's happened to Hayden and Merino? And Lejeune for that matter.
-
What the fuck is that?
-
A long drawn out death for me, i'll go 788.

Real shame this one. He hasn't done too badly for us given the chance but Rafa clearly doesn't fancy him and I can see him being shipped out sooner rather than later. I think there's definitely a player there, can see him moving on and oing very well but it's pretty clear he's got no future here.

Gorillas on the piss

Vote Kaka. I really can't compete anymore man. Comparing Lejeune to Williamson?! Absolutely tragic stuff. Lose some games and people just completely come unglued and start talking utter rubbish. Terrible stuff. He only picked you cos you're a forrin.

Worst football poster's gonna be fucking tight this year.

So is he a winger or a left back? I wouldn't have minded this going through in the summer, just not convinced he's going to be what we need in a relegation battle. Same goes for Ings who is the other realistic possible signing mentioned. I think he's predominantly a winger but has played at left-back/wing-back. I assume that's where Rafa is looking to use him. The Ings link makes me a bit uneasy as well. He was a decent goalscorer before his injuries but he's a bit of an unknown quantity now. Seems like a risky move when we need someone proven and ready to hit the ground running When you hear names like Sturridge and Luiz mentioned as possible loan moves, you get a lift and a genuine feeling that we could shoot clear of the relegation spots comfortably. Ings and Kenedy doesn't have that effect to the same degree does it? Of course not However one is realistic and the other is fantasy land.

Great at managing great players as well, not championship players that we have. Doubt we can get much more out of them. I honestly think with a PL standard keeper we'd be nowhere near where we are now Which beggars the question why get rid of Krul? Not the best but a darn sight better than the two we have. I don't really know, can only assume injuries absolutely crippled him. Its one of the weirdest declines I think I've ever seen in a player Was saying the same thing yesterday. Can't recall off the top of my head seeing a player in their 20's decline like he has over the span of 3 years. It's strange, like. He looked like he was going to develop into a top class keeper and then for no real reason just seemed to start going downhill and never stopped. Maybe the injuries played a part, maybe he'd just been here too long and had lost some motivation and determination. Whatever happened I hope he gets his career back on track, he seems like a really nice lad and obviously loves the city and the area.

I don't really see why we'd need to anyway. You're allowed £150m losses over three years iirc and two out of the last three years we've made a profit. Even calling that profit zero and assuming a loss of £30m last season we should still have north of £100m to play with. Getting rid of FMA's stupid plan of paying everything up front will be like have an extra £50m in the kitty anyway (like a new signing, Jeff).

Isn't Benevento where Lazaar buggered off to?
-
So we're about 2/1 which in relegationometer terms is about 3.33 (I think).
-
He's becoming one of those players you wish would just retire so we don't have to be linked with him every transfer window.
-
Even if it is just £30m, once we're rid of FMA we can behave like a normal club and spread the cost over a few years in installments. That £30m would go quite a long way spread over time. Three £20m players in 3 years installments would cost us £20m this year. His policy of paying for transfers in full upfront has really hindered us in the transfer market imo.
-
He'll catch up in a bit.
-
What i'm taking from this is that if you want to do a deal with FMA you have to get him in a room with food and beer.
-
He was class. He could strike a free kick or a cross so sweetly, man. Up there with Beckham in that regard, possibly better (on the crossing part at least).

Ben Arfa in the same sentence as Shearer and Given. Yes, because they're three of my favourite players. I said nothing of them being in the same calibre as eachother. Although fwiw Ben Arfa is the most talented of the three by a distance. Nar. Shearer by a distance. You don't have to look fancy to have talent.

Think positive, Crumpy, we could be 19th top

He's trying to knock another 5 million off the asking price.
