  1. Love this man. The way he talks about 'the city' as part of the club and vice versa says to me he really gets it. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rafa-benitez-names-biggest-danger-12129575
  2. At some point london might listen and stop taking utter cunts off our hands.
  3. He wants beaten with sticks. That's fucking appaling.
  4. Aye, name change needed. Could have the classic 'Still Still not worthy of a thread' or an impertinent 'Thread of the unworthy'. Maybe go left field and go with 'Poundshop football thread'. Still like 'The Garth Crooks not worthy of a thread thread'

The thing is, that would be fine if it hasn't spilled out into most other threads recently. Everything seems to be us vs them at the moment, and its really freaking annoying. Not something I've noticed tbh. You were comparing us to them in the league cup game thread
  6. Nah, just make the next one 'The Garth Crooks Still Not Worthy Of A Thread Thread'

Scores fairly highly on the Taylor Mince Scale
  8. With the money we've recouped so far, the big wages off the wage bill and the huge PL TV money we should have a canny wedge to spend next summer anyway if we go up. I'd rather keep him and see how he develops. After Rafa came in he's come on leaps and bounds and he seems to have a good character about him. Can see him being our captain for the next 5-10 years if we show some ambition.

The caption underneath the bottom photo says; "Ray with his son Alan Reed and his granddaughter Leyla Reed" but he's just sat there in his chair with two hairy arsed blokes stood behind him You do know the one on the left is a woman don't you mate? seriously? There's no way that's a woman. Miss Sunderland 2015 I believe. She won by virtue of being the only one with enough digits to count the fingers on two kitkats.
  10. Such a weird player to have a grudge against

Sunderland haven't played Preston this season tbf
  12. Basically forgot he even existed as soon as he left
  13. I'm pretty sure he can do it at premier league level. Remember that game against West Ham (I think, might have been his debut) and he was cutting them open with his passing and making a real difference to our play. His head seemed to drop a bit after that and he didn't look particularly fit but if Rafa has got him on the right track then I reckon he'll be able to produce that sort of display more consistently.
  14. If we're looking nailed on for promotion by then I'd rather we go for players who are going to be decent premier league standard and I'm not sure Judge fits that mould. While iIthink he could do well for us in the championship I'm not sure it's worth getting him only to have to replace him in the summer.
  15. Fuck that shit. I'm glad he's injured and I hope he's out for a long time.
  16. Discourages stupid queues. People have had weeks to get tickets! With midweek games a lot of people have work commitments and don't know if they can make it until the day of the match, sometimes last minute. Understand why they've done it (for the reasons you've mentioned) but £15 would have been fairer rather than doubling the prices. Also should have allowed cash turnstiles in Leazes level 7 because that will be empty tonight as Preston only bringing 1,000. Still 45,000 is a remarkable show of support from the fans for what is a League cup 4th round tie between two 2nd division clubs and I think we're now showing Ashley what he could have had all those years ago if he'd ran the club properly. As a comparison, Sunderland got 13,000 charging the same prices in this competition a few weeks ago v Shrewsbury and when they played Man Utd in the Semis a couple of years ago they only managed 31,000 with 6k of those away fans. As for the team I expect Sels, Hanley, Mbemba Lazaar, Diame, Atsu, Hayden and Mitrovic to come in to the starting XI. Nobody gives a f*** how many Sunderland got man Well don't pass comment then you absolute cretin. Someone's got to tell you, it's getting embarrassing. Couldn't care less. I find 99% of your posts embarrassing/cringeworthy but I'm too polite to say so. 99%? Get in. Shoo in for most improved poster this year then.

    Chancel Mbemba

Looks like he's sat in the Bigg market at 4am struggling to focus on the copper asking him why he took his shoes off
  20. The loudest it got in my area was a group of cunts when a pass was overhit ffs.
