You can't point to Pardew, McClaren and Carver and say none of them could get it right, it must be the players fault. Two sacked by lower league clubs and one who's not even a manager (although his Microsoft Office skills are impressive). If we'd appointed Pardew plus two good managers and still been shit then maybe you'd have a point but the fact is we've appointed three shit managers and been shit. Big surprise. You don't put Stifler in charge of the oven and then blame the house when it burns down. Lets try appointing a good manager and then see what happens. Must be worth a shot, right?

Terrible news. RIP Pav.

Absolute fucking horseshit. Apart from Cabaye he's signed cheap useless unproven and unable to play in this league fuckwits Perez is useless? He had nowt to do with Perez, it was that weird looking Barry Manalow/ Rod Stewart tribute act thing. Finds and signs one of the most promising talents we've seen at the club for years. Gets dogs abuse. has to take responsibility for the bad ones but can't have it for the good ones, that's how it works I'm talking about the old alien dear in the Rod Stewart mask

While i'd love to see him get sacked asap it's really not going to happen. He's mates with Carr and on the board so that's 50% of our board who'll be in his corner. Bob will just concur with the others and Charnley is a spineless little lickspittle. It was (another) stupid appointment that we went for because he was cheap, desperate and mates with the head scout. Pathetic way to run a football club.

That 'cross' from Dummett Like one of Luuk de Jongs shots.

Looking at the positives, we did manage a 100% increase in shots on target over the Everton game.

Gonna post this before kick off next game.

Another 90 minutes for bloodless Jack

Feel a bit sorry for Darlow tbh. He's obviously pretty nervous.
-
He had his arms around his waist

He's ridiculously limited like. He can trap it and then hoof it or pass it short (requires extra concentration) and that's pretty much it. He's like a player off the early nintendo games where you only had two buttons to control it. He's played a big part in us still having a clean sheet today mind. Some good blocks. Aye, I do think he can do alright defensively, maybe lacks a bit of pace but he's never a fullback as he just has none of the skills required going forward. He should be at CB really if he's going to play, he's generally looked better there anyway imo.

That's the problem with playing without real wingers like, Gini could have roasted the full back there and got in an early cross but chose to cut inside instead. We could really use some proper width at least on one side.
-
Perez, Wijnaldum and Mitro are linking up quite well. Some nice slick passing.
-
Put him on ignore then.

I think you may have misunderstood, or I may have, but I think all he said was that the lack of maintenance to SJP since Ashley took over is beginning to show physically on SJP. It wasn't a sudden realisition that Ashley is a bit shit I don't think. That's how I read it.

If we want to get the best out of this lad then we need to get some width and start getting crosses into the box for him. He doesn't come across as the type of striker who will make his own chances, he needs service and between our complete lack of creativity in the middle and our playing two naturally central players out wide he's not getting it.
-
What does seemingly everyone else see that eludes us though?
-
Wahey! Rare chance to see some weekday football. Reckon we'll get something here, 1-2. Wouldn't mind seeing Perez up top with de Jong playing off him if Mitrovic is injured. Midfield three of Sissoko, Anita and Wijnaldum would be better like but I can't see that happening.

Chelsea relegated would be so funny.

Should've come here.

He's a grade A arsehole. Fully expecting the c*** to try and jump on screen in the new Krays movie Seen him in the Walls End pub a couple of years ago. Expected him to be a right prick but was surprised to find he's actually a sound lad. Spent about 20 minutes talking about NUFC with him and he was canny crack. Can totally understand why people who've never met him would think otherwise though. This. I understand why people who only see him on tv don't like him, but in person he's sound and a really nice lad. I'm sure Piers Morgan and Russell Brand are decent enough company for a pint or two anarl but if you make a point of being a complete bellend when you're in the public eye then people are going to think you're a complete bellend. They're not wrong either. Attention seeking twat with no discernible talent apart from globbing on to those who might get him a bit of spotlight for his sad pathetic ego.
