Thing is, you can't buy young players in order for them to develop and increase in value and at the same time expect them to come in and be an experienced first choice in their position. MYM has everything he needs to go on and be a top class CB but he needs games and experience to achieve this.
If you want someone to come in and be a top class first team player straight away then pay for one, if you want to do things on the cheap hoping for a profit then you need to give your investments game time to mature.
Your mate Souness described Colo's performance as 'solid'
What a reference What did Kinnear say?
Souness is an excellent pundit
Really? I'd expect something more like 'Sopwith is an egglet bandit' from him.
It was the wrong change to make. As soon as he came on for Vurn we lost our shape and started giving away possession. Would much prefer for Abeid to have come on (possiby with Sissoko dropping back next to Colback and Abeid pushing further up) and Obertan to have replaced Gouffran if he absolutely had to come on.
From the comments. Is that the gadgie off here that does the stupid three full stop thing?
As for Pardew, he's had years to get it right, I don't see another 10 games making much difference.
No they didn't. Too similar. We aren't a possession side and those lads are only good at recycling play - among other lads that also largely struggle to create.
I disagree, ergo you are wrong.
Dude, Obertan's balls have dropped man. He's good now.
Fucking edited that. I was just off on google searching to find out what the fuck a 'ball shave' is and why it would drop.
With MYM injured the only other option today was Stevie Bantz. When MYM is fit again i'd like to see him come in for Colo but for today i'd rather have Colo than Saylor.
